I love my Spyderco knockoff F759. Amazing knife really. Razor sharp like you said, maybe the sharpest knife I've gotten out of the box except for maybe a Mora. On the other hand I also got a FB727 and wasn't impressed. It was one of the dullest knives I've gotten out the box and action was a bit too janky for me so I'm returning it. Just ordered this one so hopefully QC is spot on

Just got mine from WMK on a fantastic sale for $80. This one is punching way above it's weight class! Gorgeous knife.

One workaround for a stiff cross-bar lock is to take apart the knife and remove one of the bar spring-arms.

I use cheap Opinels and Victorinox as folders, serious things done by custom fixes. So I have not much use for "modern folders". But! Here is the big but, as if for nothing else I would use it as a toys for boys fidget spinner as it has absolutely fantastic looks. Not much folder I would buy for the looks, but this one is an exception. Very much unfortunate that I hadn't bought it when it was released with 14C28N. Now it has the D2 which is a terrible steel in my read. But, as it would be a showcase queen, actually doesn't matter that much. I wanna get one as soon as I can. Or, maybe if there is a 14C28N please don't hold back the info.

I say the 5 STAR are the BEST speed loaders solid piece of Billet aluminum

I don't believe ive ever gotten a bad ganzo. I know they are extremely tuff. Because they are so cheap ive used them for stuff normal people never would. Ive never had a problem with the steel. Ive heard a few years ago. The steel was not what was marked. I believe they fixed that. Besides who would lie about budget steel. Personally i like cheap knife steels. I have m390, N690,cts-xhp, S30v, S35vn, 14c28n and a few others ive sold or gave away. My favorites xhp,14c28n,440c,9cr18 those steels are cheap and do everything i need. The last 2 are better then most realize.

If you can’t snap it in 1/2 with your fingers… it’s stronger than a Bugout. And you can buy 3 for what BM is charging.😂

I have 2 old ones. They are probably about 75 years old. Sun burst handles. The safety slide no longer works on them. I wonder if they can be fixed, but I’m also considering just leaving them be since they otherwise function as they should . I don’t keep it in my pocket anyhow

Blade profile is nice. Only the deal breakers for ME are, crappy crossbar lock that I almost lost a finger to and the waste of cutting real estate by that goofy finger choil on the blade. Thanx for the video my Bladed Brother ⚔👍✝🇺🇸

I have two knives from Harnds, a big, chunky fixed blade and one folder, the Giant Silkworm. Both good knives. Hmmm. It's either this or the Kubey Ceto for me this week. How's their D2 seem?

i can confirm that Ganzo knives come very sharp out of the box. they hold their edges pretty well because Ganzo's heat treatment is spot-on. i think your paper test was not so good because the paper's edge was rolled and there clearly was something on your edge (you said glue). one of my fav Ganzo EDCs is the FH922. if you like tall slicey blades and hydraulic action you might like the Shooziz HAN313. edit: HAN313 video th-cam.com/video/vp2b6d8bLCE/w-d-xo.html

I actually first bought the Tiffany blue one, then sent them a message to change it to Ultem. Love it. I believe it came out to $37. Crazy. On a side note; I have a few knives in Ultem, including a Kizer Towser K in polished Ultem, and it is one of my grippiest knives. Sanrenmu deliver again. consistently. and their heat treatment is excellent. my Sanrenmu favs are still the SRM 1006 and the Land 140. edit: out of the box my Sanrenmus run better than many of my Benchmade or Spyderco knives.

I too have the bigger version of this one. I got it years ago, and have enjoyed using it. Funny how we seem to have such similar tastes in knives lol.

Good looking knife! I have a few SRM's and I've been happy with them all. I also can highly recommend the SRM 9201 in any of it's variations.

nothing wrong with 440C, very tough and corrosion resistant as you said. and Ganzo's heat treatment for 440C is the best in the business. tougher steel than many of the powder super steels. another awesome analog steel is 14C28N. and you can fix the blade edge pretty easily while it's getting a really sharp edge. strop it after use and you don't have to sharpen it.

I have a few ganzos and they are great value knives.

That's a sweet one, man. Definitely grabbing one myself. I have trouble resisting Petrified Fish stuff! lol I have all the Beluga varieties (Original, Tanto, Mini, Fixed), a Scholar, an 818, an 838, a Bunta, a Viking, a Loco, and a 939. They also made a little prybar/karambit tool a couple years ago that I had to grab. I think I might have a problem!

Your version doesn’t have the same sharpening choil I see on other videos and WMK. Interesting.

I just got mine today (08/07/2024). I bought the tan G10 with black blade version. I thought it looked beautiful in pictures. It looks even better in person. Action is fantastic already. I love the size.

Forget sanding the scales. I found that just using the knife took off the very aggressive points of the pyramids. I did sand the scales right under the curve of the pocket clip. I love this knife.
