    I Am a Diehard Hurricanes fan, but watching Bama just makes you jealous. Their players are just Different. They had about Nine true Freshman out there just Ballin. And if the commentator didn’t say, “Thats a another True freshman” you wouldn’t be able to tell. Saban is easily the best College coach Ever. Smh

      That's right baby! Alabama is gonna win a championship with Tua before he goes to the NFL. Remember the '92 championship game between Alabama and Miami? Everyone thought Miami was gonna destroy Bama, but they got destroyed instead! Classic game though

    Yes, Nick Saban is the greatest cf of all time; he won one at LSU, 5 at UA and could win more. And now it appears he has a qb that could dominate games rather than just manage them.

    • @djnc9488
      @djnc9488 7 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Kevin Atwell that's a game changer for Nick. He about to win 3 or 2 championship with that freshman quarterback . If the defense can stay dominant, Alabama is going down as one of the best college program football

      John beason That LSU screen wasn't to Richardson, it was to Yeldon. AJ was spot on to every receiver that drive. He put the ball where only they could catch it. Dude finished second to Winston for the Heisman. C'mon, man

      I agree that Alabama may be on their way to more National Championships with a rising star quarterback....BUT, I can't understand why they have a multi million dollar, national championship winning program and can't get a damn field goal kicker to save their life! We haven't had a decent field goal kicker since Leigh Tiffin...I'm a Bama fan through and through but boy I sure feel like slamming my head in a door when they say field goal try...

    I hate Bama but he's spot on here. That second half adjustment was legendary. Georgia had no idea how to handle Tua Tagovailoa, they had not game planned for him at all and the change won Alabama the game. Amazing.

      UCF 96th in total defense 45th SoS (includes Auburn, 64th SoS without.) They literally had the weakest schedule of any top 20 team and still had one of the worst defenses in all of CFB.
      Missouri fired their DC and they had a better defense than UCF.

    With fate hanging in the balance and the protege ready to write his own destiny, the master, Nick Saban, still had one final lesson left to teach his former pupil Kirby Smart :
    "Sure, the 'Process'-- with it's planning, preparation, practice, and great recruiting --it'll take you a long way. But in order to be great, I mean truly great, sometimes you gotta have the balls to defy all logic & established coaching gospel if you want to make history."
    Nick Saban is 14-0 against his former assistants. While he may teach his apprentices everything the apprentice knows, he doesn't teach them everything the master knows.

    I would take college football overtime over nfl overtime every time. Even as a patriot fan I thought it was weird we could win in overtime vs the falcons in the super bowl without the offense that brought the falcons there ever taking the field. It’s more entertaining to see a shootout than watching a coin flip and saying well our season lives and dies on a 50% chance

    • @DiamondForger

      Peter not sure why the falcons deserved another shot on offense. The amazing offense that got them to the Superbowl couldn't put up any points mid way through the 3rd quarter while the Pats started stacking them up. The falcons had their chance to put points on the board to win, its called regulation.

      Allen Evans ok. I come in peace. It just bothers me that so many people here in America think the POTUS is the most powerful person in the world when in reality this system we live under is the Roman empire with the pope being the most powerful and sole owner of everything in it including you and your soul. Even if you have deeds all you have is the right of use. When you were born your parents unknowingly signed ownership of you and the treasury direct account you don't know about over. Unum sanctum is one of the laws still in effect that gives the pope his power. If you've ever heard the phrase, "All roads lead to Rome," that's where it comes from. The us court system is also of the Roman empire. A very good read is a book I find written by a retired federal judge basically exposing all this. Give me a sec and I'll find the title.

    We now have Alabama East in the SEC. The 2017 Alabama recruiting class and 2018 Georgia class might be the best 2 in the history of college football. As a lifelong Bama fan I see Alabama vs Georgia for the next 5 years. I hope we allow the 4 best teams every year. I thought it was a longshot to get 2 SEC teams in. The fact that they both lost a game and still made it was unbelievable and it does have to do with Iowa blowing out OSU. Regardless if OSU won that game. The eye test showed who the best 2 teams where. Clemson is amazing and brought in there first top 10 recruiting class which is shocking that they don't bring in 25 players in at a time. Clemson develops and Alabama and Georgia stacks the deck and competes for playing time. Think about this. A top 100 player in all of high school sits out a whole year to be part of Alabama. He is listed on the 2017 class but is part of the 2018 going forward. A top 100 could go to any other school and get playing time and start on some teams. The reason why is because they know if they cant beat out the competition at Alabama and soon to be Georgia then NFL is a pipedream. If you want to compete you go to these schools. Georgia has From and is bringing in Justin Fields. What??? Compare the 2017 tide class to the 2018 Bulldog class. Both grab the top dual threat QB. Best RB. Best O lineman. 4 of the best top 10 recruits Saban has ever recruited are going to be 2 sophomores and 2 freshman. 4 out of his best 10 during this dynasty. Georgia grabs 7 of the top 25 best players. Smart is the closest we will have to Saban. Both programs get the best RB's. Both will get the best Defense players. Now there grabbing the best dual threat QB. I'm wondering when Surtain chose Bama had everything to do with Tyson Campbell choosing Georgia. The best cornerbacks on the same high school team. When both are that great they want to go to different schools. Surtain knew Bama was the only option where he can be on the same stage with Tyson. Georgia is 1 recruiting class away from flipping the talent scale there way. I think Bama will bring in 29 player in 2019 and both will finish top 2. The question will be if both are undefeated and play in a close sec title game how can you drop either down a spot. No way one drops out or down to 4. They will put them in different brackets and its up to Clemson and OSU to stop an all SEC title game in which both could.

    The only thing I would change in OT is that I would start the possession on the 50. Make the offense move the ball at least 15-20 yards before you are in FG range.

    • @tmarsh0307
      @tmarsh0307 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Steve, I'm an Alabama fan. Gus Malzahn has performed better against Nick Saban than any other coach active in college football today, outside of Urban Meyer and Dabo Swinney (I wish we could see more Bama-Clemson and Bama-Ohio State matchups). As offensive coordinator and HC, Malzahn is 3-5 vs. Saban. He has won a National Championship, played for another, two SEC Championships, and three SEC West Championships. Two of Alabama's wins vs Auburn could have gone either way - 2009 & 2014. Bama came from 14 and 12 down respectively to win those games 26-21 in 2009 and 55-44 in 2014. Malzahn is a difficult coach to prepare for. His offense has so much misdirection and such. If he can get a QB who will buy into his system (they don't have to be the best athlete) and can keep his RBs and skill players healthy, and keep a D-Coordinator like Kevin Steele, then he is a tough coach to beat. No, Malzahn has not dominated Saban. But he has faired better against him than many others.

    • @sdboyd
      @sdboyd 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      But this guy didn't say that. He said that he was going to own Nick Saban for years to come. This implies domination. I don't think that Nick Saban is some x's and o's genius. In that respect, Tom Osborne was much better. Saban is a great leader and a pretty good manager. He surrounds himself with the best support staff and he is a great recruiter. He simply wins and when he doesn't, he gains insight from the loss.

    I agree with you. But I think the reason they leave out the special teams in overtime is so you have to go for it. Instead of keep on going on. Special teams are critical in field position, and can win you.games. I guess what I'm saying is it gives an opportunity which team is better on the fly.

    I like college overtime, but you can't compare it with penalty kicks in soccer. That takes out basically everything outside of placing the ball in the net and goalies trying to guess the side the shooter strikes at.
