Pretty cool!!! I made a handle for my buck knife out of that same bone a few weeks ago..working on a fox jawbone handle for a knife now..I will be doing this in a few weeks for sure for the flintlock!!

I just made one out of a piece of horn. The only issue I have is it getting wet if you get caught in the rain.
Ill have to make one of those, I still have some leg bones in garage
