Wishing next time will be top case support 360 thickness radiator on the top with push and pull configuratoin.

nothing can beat a classic, simple carboard box.
I think i might save my 100$ for csgo skins and use a cardbox for my pc..

I just got the S340 Elite here, looks stunning, keeps cool, and is pretty quiet for me. I'd highly recommended it actually. Glad to see it in the list.
Phanteks P400/P400, Enthoo Pro... But I understand we can't expect you make a review of all the cases in the market, great video!
Phanteks P400S TG is better than most in the review and you leave it out. Also rads on top this is a mid tower review most of these cases cant
Bruce Moniz they only included cases they have reviewed would you have preferred they stuck in with no actual data on it just because phanteks fans some think it's pretty?

Phanteks enthoo pro M and Phanteks Eclipse P400 TG, the former has awesome pricing, it comes with an rgb led strip, led controller and tempered glass side panel for 79$
I love the no frills Silverstone case!!
I think the NZXT H440 Razer is overlooked because of it's age. I bought one for a build in January. It's very quiet, with TONS of space for HDDs. It comes with 3 front 120mm fans, and one rear 140mm fan. I added a corsair H100iV2 to the top. The top exhaust even has sound dampening foam! It's even able to cool the i7-7700K, and that's saying something! :)

Thermaltake Core P3 wins the award for 'best looks' for me, but i'd still go for Fractal Define C, as it's simple to use and elegant.

Would have been cool to see the Raidmax Delta and Sigma ($50 and $80, respectively) in this. Those guys need to send you some review units lol. My experience with those cases has been unexpectedly extremely positive.

I find it very strange when reviewers say a cheap case is a match for a cheap cpu and gpu.Why couldn't you put an i7 in this case or an rx580 (when the titeass miners go away)? A mid tower case is a mid tower case.
Because everyone have standards. If you have the money to buy an I7 you will spend a bit more on a fancier case. You could put an I7 in a 10$ case, but you wont.
nem tudom Yes, I got my PC as a gift. i7 4790K I made a Gaming PC out of it but I kept the case and cooler. Started up Battlefield V getting 80*C on loading screen. Nice.
You don't put those in cheap mid tower cases because they inherently generate far more heat. Additionally, the motherboards they have also support far more peripherals and case features.
As a result, low end cases with high-end components don't make sense, especially when you start overclocking.
Please review Phanteks P400s TG?
I mount everything on a piece of plywood and put in a mini fridge having the wires coming out the door. Turn on the fridge and boom. Cool temps

You guys should review the Phanteks P400S TG. It's awesome looking and has the best features, but I'm not sure how well it would cool with limited intakes? Sort it out Steve!

I have an Thermaltake Element G with 1x 230mm, 2x 200mm fans and a not working 140mm fan that I didn't bother to replace yet. I always wondered how well it compares (noise & cooling) to the new cases like those mentioned in this video.
Great thing about it is that those fans came with the case, I didn't have to buy them.
Love Silverstone Cases. My next build will be with the ML08 or new RVZ03.
My phanteks enthoo evolve matx tg is still my favorite chassis 😇 although the S340 elite is also one of my favorites

Some no Name mid-tower cases offer like 3 Fans and full filtration, even with Windows and some RGB stuff for like 40 Dollars. :D
It makes no sense (in terms of value) to go with a "Name" if you are on a budget.

my last build was in corsair 002 love the airflow on it.and cable management. $60.00
No case comes even close to my old Antec p183 but trouble is the front usb ports no longer work,any cases that compare to the p183?

still rockin my phanteks enthoo pro for 3 yrs now. its got 2 builds into it so far. and temps are great. and i just noticed the price hasnt changed in 3 yrs either.

If they do a review, they will defenetively compare it (atleast in thermals). Not that I would expect it to be any different to the standard p400.
Very nice round up. Any plans on reviewing the Thermaltake View 31 TG? one of the few TG cases that also supports vertical GPU's, which i really hope become become much more common.
Do you have your image stabilization on during your pan/tilts? It looks like the image is jumping around (unless it's just my eye) but that is what happens when IS is turned on and you're using a tripod.
What about the cheap masterbox lite 5 rgb with 4 RGB fans, is 270r better? Btw build will be 1080/1080ti/2080/1180, and ryzen 2600 or 8400

can you put in a fan of your choice on the corsair spec 04? or do you have to use the one that it comes with? I'm new to this I'm trying my best

I know you hate phanteks but at least they do offer drive caddies unlike the Define C and really the temps in the P400 are not that bad only a few degrees off
We don't "hate" companies, first of all. We just haven't reviewed any of their stuff in the past year. This round-up contains only cases that have been through our labs.
Define cases are just better then phanteks junk. they are quieter, better ventilation , and allow more options for what ever you need. plus in a few years SSD will replace harddrives in capacity. which can be placed using hotglue, velcro, gum what ever you want to use.

yeah sorry you do. but I am not you and im sure I do not do the same stuff you do with your computer. my computer gets pretty hot with a 4670k at 4.4 ghz. I have the corsair 500r with 3 140mm fans and 3 120mm fans I get 80c at max load. what i use my computer for is blender, cad, gimp and to play games and not the counter strokes or the battlefaileds im talking about Arma, dcs, il-2, xplanes, Ro series.
I dont like phanteks they are not worth the money compared to the define S or r5, define cases allow me to mount a 140mm fan anywhere I would like which is quieter and pulls in more air, same with a radiator If i ever wanted to water cool. the S allows for 3 hard drives or I could just make my own mounts out of sheet metal, a drill and two pieces of 2x4 scrap planks plus the case its commonly found for 80 usd. im not the person who buys in to looks. as a person who works in a trade I buy for performance unless we are talking about women and even then...

The Phanteks P400 also allows 140 fans in the front and on the top.
And yes workload can change factors, I have a gaming PC and can make it into a video production machine too with my Ryzen 7 1700 but I actually get great temperatures and no radiators mind you.

I got an s340 for $50 a month ago for the new tower I built and at that price I'm very impressed with what I got.
Size doesnt matter to me but i need cheapest quietest case for my 9700k build. I have a 1T SSD and 1T HD....suggestions. Love look of nzxt cases....

Haha...I was going to mention that you forgot about the P400, but then I looked at the comments already written and noticed it was brought up plenty... and Steve, if you say you don't have the p400 TG on the list because you didn't review it, i would say it's fair, but I'm wondering why not, since it's been one of the more popular case in the last year for sure.

I had the define r4 or 5 can't remember, thing is damn near silent with noctua fans which tbh is pretty important to me. I will be going fractal for my next case as well that's for sure.

Hi Steve, I'd really like to know your opinion on Sharkoon cases (preferably the T3 / VG5 if you have seen them). I haven't seen any reviewers that I respect do any coverage on them at all. They look decent in pictures and video but without seeing one in person or having any quality reviews of them I find it hard to choose. I have read purchaser reviews and many do not like the fans, I guess they're cheap, but I plan on using other makes for PWM control anyway. What I wonder the most about them is if they are reasonably sturdy.

An Autistic Pleb my p400 runs stupid hot with 5 damn fans on it. If i take the front panel off my temp drops 10 degrees. Love the case but the thermals suck ass.

Are the ICX sensors fun to play with?
not at the expense of $10 per sensor.. We now have to pay a premium for their previous thermal f**k up, it doesn't make sense.
at least they wont fail this time they are super overkill(the vrms) kinda like the rx 480
I heard iCX sensors are fun to play with.
They still offer cards without the sensor tech, but with the ICX cooler. In the 1080ti's case, it's the Black Edition. I think the other cards have variants.

If you're in the UK and looking for a dirt cheap case. The CiT Dark Star is a great option. It works perfectly imo for the price. It's like $25?

9:27 oh snap! thermaltake fitted the dust filter so that your radiator will blow into it, otherwise you'll get the backside of the fans which looks pretty bad

I would like to see the best under $200. I can't seem to find a review without at least 1 one star review.
I have the s340 elite which looks gorgeous but gets warm under load. I usually take the front panel off when gaming and easily get a 10c drop across the board but still use the mesh filter.. I wish NZXT would make a mesh front for this case like the Silverstone.

the hardest part of building a PC (for me, at least) is choosing a case
I like the white case but do I have to get a new motherboard
corsair 100r with 4 extra 120mm fans (5 total) beautiful unassuming box can run all day at full throttle and nothing goes beyond 64c at 50% fan speed.

i wished you tested the fractal define s, it becomes some of the best and cheapest with 5x 1400mm fans installed (3x intake front, side panel and rear exhaust) you cant win a cooling performance or noise test without side panel exhaust for the gpu, so that disqualifies all windows cases, those are maybe in another class called vanity cases.

Please do a video on finding the cheapest silent full tower case. Basically 100% ignoring looks and focusing purely on silence and maintaining decent cooling.
