Great interview! To be fair, although I think JayZ is generally a standoffish dude unless you're already a star, all his encounters with Jay were in public spaces. Whereas with Nas it was a more intimate setting. I'm sure Aries realized that as well.
I agree with all of the people he said they are all goats, but the main one that I agree with is big daddy Kane, because big daddy Kane influence my favorite rapper that I think is the goat of rap and that is Krayzie Bone from bone Thugs-n-Harmony, bone Thugs-N-Harmony change the game and everybody took the style but they never said nothing

Very! I don't think a lot of people understand that. Went right over Aries's head which made me think he doesn't know as much about hip hop as he claims. There were a few times in this joint that the interviewer just casually made hip hop head level points and Aries didn't seem to understand lol.
Eminem had to dumb down to a certain degree also. It’s a nature of pop music and what is palatable to the masses. Eminem also needed to plug into scandal culture to generate that necessary buzz, also an example of “dumbing it down”. But I do see what he’s saying.
