I found these Ladies because of Band-Maid. I keep finding new bands to listen to, all because of them. And I am enjoying finding new bands and music greatly.
I think NittPicc just called me a halloweenie :p . You picked 2 of my favorite newish bands this week in NEK! and now PaleNeØ. Both are all original members as they have not had enough time to play the Japanese "musical chairs" we have become accustomed to. I find it pretty amazing with AI and everything else happening nowadays there is still actual music we can enjoy ... and it keeps progressing ;) .
They had a drummer who left sometime last year or so.. Then late last year former Hagane drummer KanaKo became their support drummer until the end of this summer (she is in the "Moment. - Live Performance Video"). Since then, their support drummer has been CHiHO. But actually posted today, she is sick for their upcoming show on 10/26 and on short notice KanaKo will fill in.
PaleNeo, Nek!, The Stereogang, and Mellows are all amazing new or newer bands! PaleNeo does regular live streams as well. They have a support drummers. They do a covers of Band-Maid songs as well. Their sound varies as well, not all of their songs have screamo in them. Allegro is their newest release, they put it out about 2 weeks ago.
Japan is experiencing a bit of an explosion of youth cultute at the moment. Part of that is rebelling against the repressive social order, and, expressing their individuality through music, and, other art forms.
PaleNeO is pronounced "paré-néo". Since the beginning they don't have a permanent drummer, so they always use a support drummer for their performances. Some of their other songs are heavier. Try to react to the live video of their song "Moment." Another awesome all-female band I'd like to suggest is STMLT. You can try to react to their latest song "Antimental", which is their heaviest so far, or their back catalogue that is more to pop rock. Thank you!
Yes the girl who's hair you like is Reotto fun fact shes a robot or android i was lucky enough to see them live in Japan and got to meet them they are so lovely i got chekkie with Reotto i said you are robot she said yes I'm robot. soso cute great live very powerful great reaction check ot Mellows and Dimrays 2 awesome Japanese bands
Well, I think you're more badass than you give yourself credit for 😉and you're welcome to move in next door to me at any time! 😇 So, having seen/heard this name a few times now, it was you who tempted me to hear something new for a change. Thank you! ... And yes, right off the bat I would say that we should keep these ladies on our radar. :) _____________________ _"America invented rock. England improved it. Hello Pretty Princess NittPicc! For whatever it is worth, I think you are pretty cute and a badass too. If I remember correctly, I think this is one of the bands that started by covering Band Maid songs. They are still pretty new and young, so I'm hoping we get more music from them. Please take care and have an amazing week.
I love Paleneo very diverse band. I heard their new drummer is from Hagane. Their song Moment. is awesome too, I really love their hardcore side🤘🇯🇵🎸 I second the band Mellows, please check their MV 'closet' it's good!
Paleneo are also an awesome live act they go hard. Love the juxtaposition in this song. I would also like to recommend "komsume - dont think!" "MerginMoon - Activate the Hell" and "Little Lilith - Ladybug"
Love PaleNeØ! They do have a new song out but you should check out my favorite song by them its called 水槽にて, which translates to "in the aquarium". I was addicted to that song for like 3 months straight lol. it gives me like 2000s emo vibes.
As others have already said, PaleNeØ have relied on several different support drummers rather than a permanent band member, including the former Hagane drummer KanKo. Being a support musician in Japan doesn't have nearly the same kind of stigma as in the West and is a legitimate standalone career choice. Plus you also get a lot of good musicians in mid-tier bands that will also take support gigs to supplement their income, as they don't always make enough consistently from their main projects. For another underrated all female Japanese band, I'd recommend checking out Faulieu (formerly known as fleufleu). All four members have low key chops but I've never seen or heard any of them overplay for the sake of being flashy or to the detriment of the songwriting.
Back in March, I got to see Palene0 perform with Empress, Sirius, and Venus. Palene0 was the only band not by their table selling merch and meeting fans. All the other bands were selling merch and meeting fans.
PalNeØ are great! I need to listen to them more. Somehow I forget how hard they go. The juxtaposition is a massive part of the appeal for me. Picking off all the outliers that have slipped through the cracks is a great idea! Another group that is hopefully on your "slipped through the cracks so far" list is "Broken By The Scream". They have a similar "cute / badass worlds collide" thing going on. However the are a core / idol group so pretty different group makeup to a group like PalNeØ. A really good introduction is Broken By The Scream - Rising sun mv th-cam.com/video/Ou7i5bUubZs/w-d-xo.html
You keep using English vowels in reading Japanese band names and song titles. Simply use your SPANISH vowels and read pa-le-ne-o as a Spanish-speaker would read it. There is no English word "pale" in this band name.

Not worry NittPicc! You're both cute and badass! 😇

Don't know if you've reacted to Saiseiga yet. They have a new MV out with an album in a few weeks. Pretty hard though.
I could never get used to Yona-chan's 6-string bass. I can literally say this one is massive relative to the person!

PAL-UH-NAYO . I LOVE THIS BAND !

Yes the drummer is hired, recently they have been using ex-hagane drummer Kanako I think her name is, I may be wrong.

So they're talking about having bought pudding earlier in the day and someone ate it and blaming it on tye one girl.
Both. You're both
Or, PaleNeØ! They are fun, aren't they?
