DJ Precision doesn't need these buttons' effects... His set would be so much better without. He's skilled enough to kill the competition with a Vinyl only set.
Totally agree. Buttons and laptops took alot away from the stage presence you were used to seeing in vinyl battles where it was a drop of the needle on the sticker marker and you had to actually find the cue with a back spin. Buttons made DJs lazy. Remember when DJs would actually use up and down faders and movement of the record to create an echo? Now that’s real djing. Nowadays, they press the button to echo. Fukin shame the art is dead. DJ competitions became basically sampling battles, and DJs tap more than they DJ. What’s the use of even having a fader if you basically just use your mixer as a drum machine the entire 6 minutes. Take away the buttons, and then you’ll filter out the bad djs and only ones left will be the skilled.
