- This video is the third and final part in my video series about Taipei for now. In this episode, we dive deeper into the spiritual and cultural soul of the city, with visits to some of Taipei's most important temples and museums.
I'll show you these places (and more, of course) in part three:Mengjia Lungshan Temple - an architectural jewel from the 18th century. This Buddhist temple, which also combines Taoist and Confucian elements, is a living testimony to Taipei's religious diversity.
Dalongdong Baoan Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This magnificent 19th century temple features detailed carvings and colourful decorations that highlight the craftsmanship of Taiwanese artists.
Taipei Confucius Temple - Here we experience the simple elegance of Confucian architecture and feel the tranquil atmosphere, perfect for contemplation and meditation.
National Palace Museum - I am showing the museum from the outside, as I was not allowed to film inside the museum. The building is very impressive and well worth seeing. If you are in the city, the museum is definitely worth a visit. It houses one of the largest collections of Chinese art and artefacts in the world. From ancient bronzes and fine ceramics to rare calligraphy and paintings - here you can experience thousands of years of Chinese history and culture up close.
For now, this is the last part of my video series about Taipei, with which I would like to bring you closer to this wonderful city and show you how harmoniously tradition and modernity coexist here. I hope to travel to Taiwan again soon and show you more of this wonderful country and its fascinating capital.
