Looks great, Mailey! I would love to do the boxes in a few rooms at some point. That math looks hella complicated, I'm going to have to watch this a few times. Great video as always, thank you!
Oh the math isn't that hard. If you are in the US just calculate out the box inches. Times by how the inches by how many piece you need. Once you had your total inches divide by 12 (12 inches in a foot) and then divide by 8 (8 feet to each trim piece). Hope this helps!
Amazing job on this video Mailey! 😊 it’s good you got that tv set up! You can now watch football go Green Bay packers! 😂 your amazing at DIY as always! You look so beautiful in those denim overalls at the very end of your video! 😊 also congrats on almost reaching 20K subscribers! ☺️ you do DIY as good as the super Mario bros fight those turtles in the sewers! 😂 keep up the goodwork with your video my friend! ☺️ your cute in those overalls! 😊
Hello Mailey, looks really good! I think about our bedroom all the time, now the decision has been made! If the makeover was with me, I would certainly paint the sides in the lead paint like the walls. But that's my feeling, I don't live in this room and it's to your taste and not to anyone else. Otherwise you would have to design the room differently all the time 😉 depending on who is writing! Greetings from cologne Andy
Such a lovely transformation to your living room wall. ❤❤❤👌🏼 I want to do something similar to my living room wall. It runs from our front door to the back door (broken up by 1 bedroom door and 1 untrimmed rounded archway). I desperately need design consulting. 😬 If that's something you would ever offer, my $$$ is waiting.
Oh yeah I've designed out some spaces for some subscribers. 🥰 That sound like a fantastic wall to add some trim to! Thank so much for watching and all the support!
I haven’t just always been obsessed with it. I almost went to school for it but then switched to costume design so I could work in film and TV. 🥰 also self taught with building mainly but have some training from building sets.
Love your style and everything I have seen you do. I think the little coat rack works but, I also think it would look a little more sophisticated if you painted it white to match the walls and trim. Just my opinion. That dark wood grabs your eye and distracts from the rest of the 2 walls. Again, just my opinion.
Thank you so much! I like that idea a lot but also I’m a big fan of the wood. I kind of missed having a wood feature on this wall after taking down the slatted boards. So I liked that the wood coat rack brought something back to the wall. A little eye catching feature also I tend to lean towards a more eclectic style over sophisticated 😂😂😂! Thanks so much for watching and the support it means a lot!
This was such a good decision! Your wall looks amazing. And by the way, I love your new bench. Cannot wait for the makeover. 😊
oh thank you so much! I can't wait to reupholster that new bench it's going to look so nice and fit the room a little better! 🥰
A little trim really classes up a place. You have a great eye for detail and the skill to pull it off.
Thank you so much! I agree the space is a little more classy now! 🥰
can’t wait to see what else you have in store. looking forward to how you decorate the wall by your staircase
That will be in the next few parts canny wait to share more of the projects I have in store!

It looks amazing! Have you had any formal training for interior design and woodworking or are you all self taught?
