beautiful country and really cool how you brought them out there ...nice looking Shiney sonny Jim....we hit the Thumbs up and always we Subscribed ..... keep us posted Shane
After finding your video a year back I thought to check out Arapahoe Bar with my 2 feet sluice box and ended up finding around 22 peaces of gold. I upgraded to a 50 inch sluice box that is way better then my old one. I can't wait to go back out again. Thank you for your videos. 🙂
Also....I've been watching Dan use the Arbor Classifier for the last year. Seen it work in person. Was almost sold....then this video. You're comment about feeling bad for her and her plastic classifier really hit home. I was like "Yeah! That plastic one SUCKS! I'm replacing mine now" - since I've already gone through 3 of them. Gonna go buy the arbor set now, will use your code.
Excellent! When Arbor Fabricating and I designed this classifier they went above and beyond my expectations. It's the best in the world, and I'm sure you'll agree!
Tree roots are always a grey area, because they usually produce the best gold, but almost always inaccessible. Fortunately we found one that was accessible and we fixed it before we left.
Love the video. Only been there once a few weeks ago. Make sure to mention digging is only allowed on the north side of the creek. Across from the path. Even though it's clear both side have been dug on.
You can almost see my house from your drone shot! I need to get over there before the cold weather next week! I haven't watched your videos for a while and I can see your skills keep improving! Great job sir!
What an amazing deal for your Patreons! Cannot wait to get into your Expert Paydirt we got here, should be next month. That will almost complete the set, but now we have to do the new Impossible Dirt too! Cheers m8, Heidi and Conan Gold Prospecting
Love this video! I would be very happy with what you found on that day. You were definitely digging in a great spot! Did you ever get to bedrock? If not, you might have found some pickers. We have "gold" in Indiana too, but it is mainly flour gold. Nothing like what Dan Hurd finds! I like your magnet creation! Fantastic idea. I have bought several of the neodymium magnets, but yours works so much better!
I grew up in North Denver and as a kid id sit out in the dirt gutter, picking up the black sand, with a big magnet. Had many mayo jars full. Now, I wonder, how much gold I left behind!
Another nice vid got my pay dirt the other day was fun with my boy. Got what it said on the bag and a few extras Thanks bro Gonna be up in your area in june hope to find some gold
I have two bazooka sluices. I bought them from the maker in Coloma. I have the miner and the prospector sizes. I would pull 1-2 grams in four hours at the Bear River Campground. Great placer flood gold. I’m amazed at the micro fly poop the bazooka sluice retain.
@@Klesh I did not get as much as you. Never bothered to weigh it as I don't think it would be enough. Had my 30 inch Royal sluice and I think it was running to fast. Next time I'll bring my Gold Hog and should do better. The A Bar has always been a productive area.
Nah I just eyeball these small amounts. I'm sure it was somewhere between 1/10th and 1/20th of a gram. I play with gold everyday making my paydirt bags so it's just something I can very closely determine just by looking at it. Thanks for watching!
Love your videos ,I’m in a wheelchair so it’s impossible for me to get out and do this kind of thing. I’m in Canada and was looking to maybe get some of your paydirt but wow shipping would have cost me more than the dirt can’t really afford that lol. Keep on making great vids man thanks.
Love the vids my man and love all the info you include into the vid while your panning keep it up man 💪 Colorado is like a 10hr drive totz planning a trip to come up their just don’t know what river to go to where I can pan got the fiat got the car got the buckets just need to schedule a time and river lol
Definitely get the book “Finding Gold in Colorado” if you don’t know what river to pan for gold. Or just watch a few of my videos, plenty here on the channel for a lifetime of gold panning locations as well.
I'm a black sands fiend.Gold is fun to get but black sands lets me know if i'm getting close to the treasures untold. Super job getting his wife to do the digging."till the next video be safe ,stay healthy .
Nice haul, even though you don't think it's worth weighing... we would sure like it if you weighed it. My wife and I have never got more than 6 colors in a day, so your haul is incredible to us. Great vid. and keep them coming.
Great video loved the large view of the river part of the video. Good gold. I’ll have to pan there some time soon. What do you do with the dirt you bring home after you pan it out?
What a gorgeous place, Klesh! I'm pretty jelly of the sluice-ability haha, We can't do that here unfortunately. I would love to host ya up in the Monashee Mountain range of B.C. some time.
@@Klesh Fantastic! Couldn't agree more, my travel plans are all on hold till at least next year as well. Gonna be doing some gold pannin' in Japan and Taiwan again as soon as things settle down.
If I send you a bag of dirt will it be a problem at the boarder ? Should I do Some Forms or somthing ? I have a boulder with Garnets. Small but interesting .
Hey Kelsh! Ever looked at getting a Batea Pan? They are HUGE and seem like the best way to pan, just judging from all the videos I watch. Vo-Gus Prospecting uses one all the time, and is a big fan so I’d recommend reaching out to him for a bit more info on them, im sure he’d be happy to help... ALSO: he’s had a realll rough go of it recently with his beautiful best friend Grizzly(his dog) passing away after getting into some animal poison ppl had left in the woods while they were out panning. I’d imagine that hearing from you would be a boost to his spirits in a time he could use it. This is a great community we got here, and we gotta help look out for each other!! Hope you reach out to him regardless of the batea pan or not :)
Love all your content Shane! Would love to meet yourself and Vogus one day 👌 big love from rainy Wales 🏴 keep up the great content dude 🤙 much love
I was there Monday, homeless fella under the bridge there where the boundaries sign is. Girlfriend was scared so we left before I even got my shovel and left. Next year I am headed to the mountains and I might go alone
Shane, if you had the 'tip jar' youtube ability People could send you monetary tips, (people like me with PATREON unfriendly smart tvs) that really want to help support your awesome channel. Loved the video! You are awesome!! ATWA!
You should come back to Pennsylvania and try to pan for gold again. I've been successful before near the susquehanna. I found a pinpoint of gold but hey it's still gold. Sad I couldn't grab it. Also you should try to metal detect alone the civil war trails.
Welcome to the show! The gloves are for preventing oils from contaminating the gold, which will cause it to become hydrophobic, making it possible for the gold to float away on the surface tension of the water.

Stops what I'm doing, watches.... intently.
without the drone footage you would never know you were that close to civilization! Nice video!
Yep, Arapaho bar gold panning park is right in town, it even has an interstate underpass!
Nice to see you bring dirt back home to classify then pan! Thanks for sharing the adventure👍🏻⛏🏴

Good to know it's still open as of late 2020! That's some decent gold for the area, definitely! Happy 2021!

A lot of gold there considering you weren’t expecting much. Lots of garnet too which are quite collectible. Nice one klesh 👍🏻

Shane, remember that when picking up that magnetic black sand with the magnet there are particles of gold being picked up with it.
Great video dude, that was some nice gold, 💀😎👍
Enjoy your video from Arapahoe Bar coming to Colorado to live hope to meet up with you one day
$6 worth of gold from 12 man hours on river and a lot at home panning...may be worth driving outside of Denver metro next time!
It’s always worth it IMO gold or not
You know, Crusty Rusty and Jet Dry get all the lime light, but the poor old water jug... doesn’t even have a name...
Love your video's man
Ok, admit it. You and Joe were working Cheryl like a rented mule! :-)
You got that right!😂
Hi Shane this is Javed from India, watched your latest video it's very refreshing to see you getting Gold Gold Gold...✨✨✨
Nice gold
Can you use a highbanker there or anywhere in Colorado
The gold won't get stuck to the black sand when you use the magnet?
Yes, if the black sand is wet. That's why I always dry it before separation.
Very cool wish I could have been there panning with you.
Thanks!
What do you do with the all the garnets or other crystals/minerals you find? Have you ever come across any beautiful finds besides gold?
I put all gemstones i find back into my own paydirt bags here: kleshgold.com
