DJI AIR 3 at 1000m Test

- The first flight of the new DJI Air 3 took it up to the max height of 1000m to get 360 shots of Sekinchan Paddy Fields, Malaysia. Very agile and easy to fly and the dual camera is great for different fields of view in the air.

Dive straight down from 1000m up. Just a sensation you cant get otherwise unless you do parachuting.

thanks posted some on my insta unclear weather so not many shots done but for now shots do look good but not as good as mavic 3 4/3 sensor which is hard to beat anyway

DJI drones are now divided I to categories according to the most common weight categories. So I think we will now see fully featured drones in each weight category. Instead of the most expensive drones getting the best features.
My US distribute Air 3 max altitude is also 1000 meters (3280 ft) I've flown it up the side of mountains and verified this.

How do you upload 360 to google maps here in the USA they disconnect the street view app so I haven’t been able to do it lately…great video

In the UK the maximum altitude allowed to fly a drone is 120 metres, approximately 400 feet.
I CANNOT believe you did NOT show the sphere you took.

DJI updated their firmware to detect location some zones are open to 1000m but nearer to a city it drops to 500m then limit areas 120m. This location is safe open zone so will be able fly up to 1000m depends on individual country.

Great video, but flying that high is why the government is making so hard to enjoy the hobby.

They have birds to worry about. Leave drones alone and let us explore too. Prop planes and helicopters fly all over the population of entire cities like it's a game. That's dangerous, drones hovering around with less weight than a lot of bird species is a harm to no one. If someone is spying on government secrets than they should hide them better. I just want to explore and being limited period except around prisons, airports and military bases is ridiculous period. Kids riding bicycles is far more dangerous seriously.

How to set 1000 metres altitude???
By location it auto goes 1000m when at safe zones and drops to 500m in city and drops to 120m in restricted zone and won't take off in no fly zones

Nice, just bought the same drone myself, yet have yet to fly it, batteries take forever to charge; one whole night and day and still the last battery is not ready.
Very flat there, yet you can still get some nice textures and patterns from the fields. Yet please try not to center the sun on every shot, sometimes it´s ok depending on the background,
yet more often than not, it takes any interest away from the background and becomes flat. Try to lower the craft so as to get more reflections and put the sun to the left, that way you will also have a calm area to compliment the lit area.
What a shame you missed the crane flying into the scene, you could have flown after it. Thanks for your film
You can use the laptop type c 65w charger it's fast better with a 100w charger I even used my 65w powerbank to charge on the go in the car. Thanks for watching mate !
Ah thank you. No I only had the PS5 to charge from, but took the whole night to finish. The 100 watt ones are very expensive. will have to wait or buy a 2nd hand one. Thx for info@@RichartAsia

Hi dear,could you please help me for riching this max altitude on my air3? Because my max altitude is 500 meters and I set for 1000 m but this block on 500 m
you need to be in open zone then the A3 will detect the location and able to go max 1000m. I drove way out of the city to open zone.

Nope DJI lock at 1000m max either hike up a mountain or use an open drone
If you fly a drone below it, will it think that’s the ground and go higher?
Not possible as max height is from take off but if you can land on a mountain 990m then take off from there may work 😉

Should I buy an "Air 3" directly from "DJI" to get the 1000m clearance other than buying from a local retailer like "Best Buy" which may have a 500m limit?
it's a Russian roulette cause based on stock or region not all can same when I'm in the dense city zone it's 500m max but at certain safe zones it's 1000m max my advise just order from local shops at least can have better support
@RichartAsia OK thanks! Would you say "DJI care" is not worth the hassle? "Best Buy" covers everything except "fly aways" and if it's damage they want you to bring it in even if it fell in the middle of deep water 😬.
Depends on personal preference we don't even have this option in our region 😆

Just bought my new dji air 3 with rc N2 seems the signal kinda weak, fly distance around 20 meter high 78 meter signal lost ,don't know why😢
Probably because of something between you and the drone. I fly mine up to 120 metters high and it has full signal.

how can you hit 1000m:?? i thought the factory limit for dji drones was locked at 500m,
A3 is 1000m also zone allows

My Jeep has a built in inverter so while I'm flying I can charge the other batteries with a 100w charger. I can fly non stop for hours and only have to stop to change batteries.
I do the same but i have a portable battery unit with inverter so i can even charge my batteries on a field or wherever i want😁👍

I'm in Canada and just got mine yesterday. Max is 1000m for me too out of the box, although legally we can't go more than 120m or 393 ft.
After updating new firmware got cut back to 500m hahaha

@@EQUANT_ if I bring it into the city it'll auto max at 500m its based on location this place it's max to 1000m very good place to fly

Robiłem kilka aktualizacji i do tej pory wszystko było dobrze .
Wczoraj pokazała się nowa aktualizacja i po jej zrobieniu wysokość zmalała do 500 m
Będę niedługo po za miastem to zobaczę czy się coś zmieni ale wątpię.
Jeśli nic się nie zmieni to zostanie VPN wybranie innego państwa i pobranie aktualizacji z wysokością 1000m

I am trying to find a way to hack the software to have unlimited height. Some areas out in the country away from people should allow you to go higher than the limits.
