hey durian rider, i know you've taken creatine in the past, and i've been thinking about starting to supplement it now in the off season to gain some strength, what do you think about creatine?
Harley! Just bought the Cat Eye mirror for my bike after watching this video and rode with it on my bike for the first time today. Its amazing! can't believe I haven't used one sooner.
I ride a SL6 Disc and an aluminium Allez 2015 Rim with Exalith Mavic. I love how easy to maintain my Allez is. But for long rides I love the comfort of my SL6. Most comfortable roadbike I have ever had….but of course more difficult to maintain and seat Post was a nightmare in the beginning. But now I will keep it
I genuinely believe the problems in the bike industry being overstocked right now is that all new bikes look basically the same. Yes the geometry is aero but theyre bulky, heavy and mundane. Even the di2/etap stuff while yes its an advancement... as a whole package you feel like youre riding an excercise bike outside.
when i ride past other cyclists my rim brake sl5 makes the newbies cringe and the oldies mouths drop wishing they didnt buy that 10k road bike with discs
The real question is: is it worth getting a second mortgage for??????? Pretty sure you can get 3 insane good bikes for that kind of money!!! And The pinarello looks like an alixpress bike??? 😂😂😂😂 😂😂😂 That said, I love your videos man!
Agree on disc vs rim, recently rode sl7 & supersix discs and compared to my f12 & sl2 both rim brake, they’re joke. Not sure about ‘sl8 has the most clout’, looks like every other road bike with discs. The bike has no clout at all 😂
Fair enough. I guess that’s why you bought it. If I had to drop 20k on a new road bike, I wonder what my choice would be.. it would have to be rim brake but which one?
Honestly it looks nice enough but I'd rather buy a nice custom ti bike for like 4k and ride it till i expire and keep the other 8k spend it on carbing the fuck up.
Everyone knows Merida are the biggest shareholder of Specialized BUT....you dont know much about bike industry if you think Specialized frames, forks, bars, saddles etc are NOT made in China. Taiwan is where things are assembled 'made' and shipped from. Why? Less dumping tarifs and less international restrictions/taxes etc. How do I know this? Mostly out of Xaimen province. Still got doubts? Did you listen to the Rob G podcast he did with Cycling Maven about all of the above? It got taken down for some reason hehe. @@veganpotterthevegan Integration is being pushed hard, even making its way into mid tier bikes. For the hardcore across bike fit to the mm that's fine. @timdixo it's a non issue for most people. As for letting people borrow a bike of mine(something I'm happy to do), I don't swap stems out. Love the juxtaposition of the criticism and wearing a Specialized cap, brah.
Soon, we gonna have Garmin rear view features!
Brah, do you recommend two mirrors - one on each end of handlebar?
Ive found one is enough. In racing formats Im riding in the gutter to minimise the draft any ways so dont need a mirror on my left side here in Oz.
Just when I was about to accuse you of selling out, and then I watched the rest of the video haha.
Can I please have it in a RIM BRAKE VERSION
I googled it and this bike is £12.000? It's insane. You could buy a house with this money in some coutries.
