Thank you for the video. This is perfect for a couple with small children. Appreciate how the speakers can be isolated and why you don't want them flush. It's also nice that Grand Design doesn't use flooring heating ducts more RV manufacturers need to take note.

I have 18 also, but one thing I did notice that's different is kitchen table. Now has the traditional rv type table. I hate the table I have, its a pita to fold down and up and store.
Appreciate the detail and sharing industry knowledge. These videos are what's needed to better educate potential buyers and help drive quality in the RV industry. The 90 second promo videos with hand models that other RV TH-cam reviewers put out, pale in comparison to someone who actually knows what they are talking about.

Almost 12 minutes to get inside? Unless you're a newby, a quick tour of outside to show storage, outside kitchen, awning, hookups, outside shower, and other other basics. I believe the interior is what sells the units. Don't get me wrong, you seem to be a cool guy and a good salesman.
I have a 2020 Chevy Silverado with a GCVWR of 15,000 lbs and a GVWR of 7,100 lbs and a curb weight of 5,312 Lbs . The max conventional Twr is 9,500 lbs . With a max hitch weight of 950 lbs . Would this be safe to tow behind my truck ? Thank you for your time
I love it. I need more counter space on both sides of the cook stove for many reasons.also microwaves are to high up which could be and an accident waiting to happen. I e been watching ur videos and will be buying soon. I will be permanently living in it. May one that sleeps about six for company when my family visits. Can u point me in the write direction plz.

Yea it’s huge but it’s the only one on the unit and it in the front right over the hitch. It appears that the water tank is there too. Plus the propane tanks. Seems like a lot of weight on the hitch in loaded
Is this specific model supposed to blow air through the furnace vent underneath the TV mount? I just looked at one that wasn't blowing air you could feel from the vent directly under the TV, and they told me there was a "factory constriction" built-in that caused that vent NOT to blow air very well. Was I just being lied to, because I have no clue why a vent would not blow air other than damage.
Only problem with putting the awning down or tilting it, you cant open the doors. While it needs to be done for rain, one door will be unusable . As well surprised not framless windows for a brand new model
This is the one my husband and I are thinking of getting. Our passport is a little too small for us now- a family of 5 and we are wanting something with a slide in/out room. 🙂

Holding tank sizes, length, weight, drop frame storage, furnace size, R-Values, electrical components, warranties, feature content, etc... We think you’ll find a significant difference between the two products if you did a deep comparison between the two. Too bad GD “held back” on the thickness of the bottom bunk mattress. The top is 4 inches but bottom is thinner presumably to make it easier to fold up. The thicker one would work fine on the lower bunk too
I'd love to know: a) Is this an RV for someone who is 6'6" tall; and 300 lbs? (Can it accommodate someone like that for an extended period?) b) How would it handle Canadian winters (-20° to -35° Celsius)? c) What type of vehicles can haul it?

Great question Curt Zeek!!! Grand Design doesn’t use cable slide on any of their product. Cable slides have a great tendency to stretch and require adjustment (cable tightening) often. We hope this helps.😀

Vern Orrell, thank you for your question. It’s very common in the industry that slide toppers do not come on the RV’s from the manufacturer. Each brand and segment is different in regards to the features and options available. If slide toppers are something you see value in you can always add them. The nice thing about GDRV is that there are steel support plates laminated into the walls so as to mount the brackets necessary to support the slide topper. Many brands from different manufacturers out there do not give you this ability. Simply put, they don’t have them because of trying to keep the price down as low as possible. Way to many untrue comments about other manufacturers cheaping out . I seen OSB in the storage, No sink in the outside kitchen, not as many UBS locations as other eg bunks. All slides have a manual cranks. Nice trailer though but painfull BS

Fireman Dan OBrien, thank you for your question. GD offers several non-bunk floor plans in the Imagine line. The floor plan closest to the 2800BH version is the 2600RB. Everything remains the same 2600 from the bathroom going forward through the kitchen/living area and bedroom. The difference is that there are no bunks at the back of the trailer and the bathroom stretches across the rear of the trailer. The 2600RB is also under 30’ and doesn’t have an exterior kitchen. Lou Johnson, thank you for your question. I’m not sure of the specs on the Goodyear tire so I can’t give you a fair comparison. I can say however, that the support and warranty on the Westlake tire is fantastic. We recently had a customer get a blowout on the highway heading out camping. Unfortunately due to the nature of the blowout it shredded the wheel fender and part of the enclosed underbelly. This extensive damage was approved to be repaired under warranty by Grand Design and Westlake. I can’t say for certain however I’m doubtful Goodyear would have offered the same repair at no cost to the RV owner. I hope this helps answer your question. Warmest Regards, Woody’s RV Leduc!! Westlake tires are Chinesium tires. I am looking at them but would replace the tires. That goes for all the tt's I have looked at. Most all put cheap tires on them. The OSB under the master bed worries me s well.

Nice thing about the Westlake brand is that they are produced to higher quality and DOT safety standards backed by a solid warranty. The Dexter towing system which includes the axles, suspension, and brakes is what was referenced as North American built vs some of the cheaper products that have be produced and used on the RV’s from overseas manufacturers over the years. The Dexter towing system is what’s used on all GDRV product and has the highest quality with the lowest failure rate being used on the RV’s today. We apologize for the unclear reference in the video. Heat ducks in the floor disperse heat better than side ducts blowing across the floor. but side ducting is cheaper to build.Thats actually why some companies are doing it. Dirt in your heat ducts!? Thats a BS accuse. What do they have in their trailers? Farm animals? also...no Blur Ray in the dvd player. half our disks wont work. Could have done better

May we recommend having a look at the Grand Design Transcend 27BHS. @@gcragg11 I recently went to an RV show where other than the mid level and high end Class A's, every RV interior was dreary, dark brown, or had a cold grey and black decor. Every single one of them. What a disappointment. I finally commented about the dark , heavy interiors to an RV sales rep and he told me that I was probably the 100th person to tell him that. Buyers are now looking for the lighter woods, cream-colored walls and tans, or light brown furniture.
@@mathewshoyt1763 I currently have a 2007 Keystone Outback Sydney edition. All my cabinets are white. The color of the walls are light and the furniture is a light sable brown suede. The carpet in the master and in the slide-out area is beige and despite years of children and adults camping in it, I don't have a single scuff mark, or scratch. It still remains light, bright and cheery. Not even the the carpet is stained. Every spring I clean it from top to bottom and even shampoo the rugs. If you take care of your rig, it'll take care of you. ;-)

Is this slide operated with a cable attached? I have see some trailers that have them and others don't. I am asking about the 2021 trailer 2800bh.

I finally commented about the dark , heavy interiors to an RV sales rep and he told me that I was probably the 100th person to tell him that. Buyers are now looking for the lighter woods, cream-colored walls and tans, or light brown furniture.
@@mathewshoyt1763 I currently have a 2007 Keystone Outback Sydney edition. All my cabinets are white. The color of the walls are light and the furniture is a light sable brown suede.
The carpet in the master and in the slide-out area is beige and despite years of children and adults camping in it, I don't have a single scuff mark, or scratch. It still remains light, bright and cheery. Not even the the carpet is stained.
Every spring I clean it from top to bottom and even shampoo the rugs. If you take care of your rig, it'll take care of you. ;-)

U are not good at this😂. When u get to the interior, u have to get a view of the entire interior. U can just get in and keep zooming into things.
