It sounds to me like you’ve just reached a new phase of life where your priorities have shifted and you know what, that is perfectly natural! You’re a mom and a home maker. Makeup is fun and should be your outlet, not something that causes you added stress and fatigue. People watch your channel for you and your personality and will be here through all of you different seasons. When you got tearful my goodness did I relate. I haven’t had children but my body has changed dramatically due to illness. I’ve had so many ups and downs with it and my confidence is at its absolute lowest. Logically we know we are beautiful and our bodies are fine the way they are but the internal battle is exhausting! Especially when we are physically limited by it. You can do this Steph, you’re an amazing momma and woman and whatever you choose to do we will be here ❤

Happy that you’re changing your channel to fit you’re interests. We don’t just watch your channel for makeup and panning, we watch because we like you. You’re interesting and very relatable. Would love to see more vlogs. Good luck in your new endeavors! TFS…Lorie 😊

Also another sensitive soul here. I always took everybody else’s problems on as my own and attracted the people who needed help and support. It is absolutely not a bad thing. Like people have said to you it means you are a sensitive soul, a good soul who cares so deeply about everything, it’s so much better to be like that than cold and detached ❤

Love you Steph! Great job stepping out of your comfort zone with this one! It's freeing to get things off your chest without someone talking back!

Thank you so much for opening up about life and some struggles you have❤ I can absolutely relate to not feeling like I have the capasity to play with my kids as often as I want (because of my MS), and also not being happy with the way I look. I also struggle with anxiety, and I have a son that's highly sensitive, so I would love to hear more about that (I dream about writing a childrens book about the topic). Also would love to see a vlog from you!❤ Remember to breathe through those tough days (one day at a time), and remind yourself that you are a beautiful person inside and out❤

I love that you're curating your content to your own journey! We love your makeup content but honestly just seeing what you're thinking through is so much more interesting.
As for faith walk I feel that God is so gracious and our time praying and singing with our kids is the way He is being close to us in this postpartum time. May the Lord guide you in this journey! It's a hard one but so much growth potential. ❤

Wow you have a toddler now?! Time flies!!! love these types of videos and can definitely relate sooo much. I think it’s great you cry a lot, it’s great to be in touch with your feelings. Maybe that’s why you’re such a great artist and love it so much! I have the opposite thing where I feel like a robot and then break down at random times out of nowhere 😭.
I also have had body struggles especially over the last 4 years trying to… acclimate to a different body than what I was used to. So I FEEL you on that! It’s such an adjustment and I don’t know if I’ve accepted it or not, even now! Trying to accept but always check in if I feel good etc. but yeah it’s a change, lol.
Love that you’re on a journey to minimize as well, it seems to go hand in hand with being a mom. Life gets way too overwhelming and we already carry so much mental load as women and moms, it just works to downsize!
Such a long comment lol but yes I stand with you on everything! Moms unite!! ❤

Aw Steph, you are so loved. 🩷 we’re here for YOU, so upload what you’re interested in & we’ll watch. 🤩 Personally, I’d love to see fashion content, if you’re wanting to do this. 👗 I’m so proud of you for voicing what’s on your mind & letting it all out. You’re such a great mum, it’s really obvious from what you do & say, and your values. In my experience, almost ALL mums have a challenging time adapting to their postpartum body. You’re not alone in this. 🩷 emotionally, my most difficult time was after around 12-18 months… but it definitely gets better, as we face our own “growth spurts” in our mom journey & get stronger yet softer… 🌟 if you’re overwhelmed with projects, maybe do something like a 30-day capsule collection? It helped me so much, and I was able to see things clearer & even made lots of progress too! I did the same with my wardrobe alongside it, and only kept things in that I felt truly comfortable & amazing in. The rest just went into temporary storage. 😁 sending you big hugs 🤗🩷😘

My sister is also going through a pp journey. Her youngest is in kindergarten and she’s kind of going through another pp realizing that her kids don’t need her as much and now she has all this time that she doesn’t know what to do with and she doesn’t know who she is anymore cuz it’s always been about keeping her kids alive. She used to be a runner and now she’s trying to get back into it with her new body and it’s tough for her to realize her body is just different now, but it doesn’t mean it’s bad. You’re not alone ❤

This is the first video of yours I've seen but I think you should do whatever content you feel inspired to do. You seem really sweet and genuine, and I think more people are probably drawn in by your personality than just panning content alone

This was such a sweet raw video. I really liked getting to know you better ❤ I'm in a similar place dealing with changes after having my baby girl. My spiritual life has changed I'm struggling to read my Bible and stick to a consistent quiet time, but I'm praying a lot more, mostly in the car when I can focus. I also just do short devotionals that I can fit in like Our Daily Bread. I'm also having postpartum body acceptance struggles, I was so sick during the pregnancy of didn't really gain much weight and have put on weight after the birth because of nursing and food finally tasting good again 😅. I love MonicaFit here on TH-cam though for beginner and more gentle workouts. Being a mom to a baby again has also made me completely change my makeup habits, I'm barely wearing anything right now and I just don't have an interest in it as much because my priority is my baby. Btw you applied that eye makeup like a pro and it looks gorgeous on you! I was considering vlogging as well, maybe vlogmas just to see how I like it and get me motivated to make more content 😊

You’re smart not to overwhelm yourself. After I had children I didn’t think twice about clothes, makeup , or personal appearance. I think it’s great you haven’t “let yourself go”. I did and if I could go back I’d try to accept my new body. I feel like I spent 30 years trying to be something different. Your feelings are valid and real.

yes I can very much relate, I feel things so deeply too and I found that mostly no one else hardly feels at all and so it makes it really hard for me to talk to people bc I have a hard time being so "surface level" in conversations but I have been trying really hard to learn how to do it, I still can't seem to do small talk in person though so I come off stand offish in person bc I either keep my mouth shut or I overshare lol

    Ooooh girl
    Yes, yes, yes
You are heard, you are seen, you are understood!!
Touched-out, overwhelmed, having to know all the things...yes
The beauty and mental load of being a mama (especially a stay at home mom)
I do a lot of finish/pan goals and only have those things out on my desk so I'm not super overwhelmed. And it always feels good to use something to completion
My youngest is 3 and I'm almost back to my pre-baby weight (like 8lbs) but it's true, your body changes with babies. It's crazy that I'm almost back to what I was but my shape had changed.
Do you have any parks near you? I've been going on walks to my neighborhood park(about a mile/mile and a half to and from) and it really has helped mentally and physically. I just push Zeke in his wagon and then let him play for half hour and then walk back.
I saw a post that was something like, if you take a fish out of water, it can't live, if you take a plant out of soil, it can't live, and if you take jesus out of your life, the same will happen. I also listen to worship music all day. Even my 3 year old goes to alexa and asks to play praise music. Give yourself some grace. Postpartum is hard. Is there a moms Bible study you can join locally? Or a women's group?
I'd love to watch your vlogs!!
I love you and am praying for you and am always available if/when you need someone to talk to!

Maybe meditation might help you in your life rn 🥰 I'm reaaallly sensitive too, and I'm trying to not overthink and panic. But sometimes you gotta stop your thoughts and just focus on being present. Also, I'm constantly obsessing over my goals and then feel bad about not being where I want to be...spoiler: that doesn't help😂❤ and I'm constantly obsessing over makeup too

I'm wondering if there is a way to kill two birds with one stone with the two changes you want to make with your life. I have no right to tell you what to do with your life so please ignore me if you feel this doesn't make sense for you or if I'm off base. Maybe one of the reasons you're periodically obsessing over makeup is because it's the part of your life that's about you and not your family. In addition to reducing the projects you're doing, maybe you could add an exercise routine. It would be time for you, maybe take classes at a local gym and make new friends and it would be time for you. In the past, I've had weight loss success doing this, but then gained all the weight back when I lost my job a couple years ago. Maybe if your husband has more regular time watching your son it could help him understand your fatigue too.
"Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father's care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows."
Good luck with the potential new job!
