Child link from OoT continued with majoras mask and Ganondorf was stopped by the 7 sages by being sent to the Twilight zone thus leading to Twilight Princess. Ganondorf from adult timeline remembers the hero as you see. Ganondorf from child timeline doesnt even know him, he was probably stopped before he even met child Link. He was probably arrested immediately. The Hero of Time couldn't fullfil his destiny and stop him and you see him regretting and being beaten up about this when his spirit helps TP link. Imagine having the memories of a future that you shaped without being able to live there. The Hero Of Time is the most tragic figure of all links. Sad to think about him
