I've been using the GSM020 since it was released and have never doubted a reading after a crash. When they glitch or have a false reading it's either super low, or Space X numbers. 100% a 220mph run 👌
Maybe the EVA foam rings are strong enough? Maybe when the thin plastic wheel grows it tears the foam and causes failure? Sleeve the inside of the wheel. Get some thin wall carbon tube and epoxy it into the inner wheel flange.

Make the car rear steer? Get some scales and work on the weight balance. Got to work out the flip over details. Also run a body through fluid dynamics or whatever to verify the aero.

have you ever thought of going with aluminum wheels? seems you blow up a lot of tires and that is the biggest problem when it comes to causing crashes. or would the aluminum cause too much rotating resistance?
