We all need a friend like Jacob.
Learning a new track is fun. There's a special feeling to hitting that new double out of a corner that can't be described. On those jumps that Jacob helped with, try 4th gear (250F). A lot of people get nervous when they see the face of the jump coming and play with the throttle. 3rd gear can be sensitive. You can keep a more consistent speed and throttle input is lower due to gearing. When you use less throttle, it gives the feeling that the jump is easier and then you'd get more confidence and comfortable on them.
If youre a “noob” then im a d class😂 id never hit those😂
Same🤦♂️
Even the pros take time to learn the subtleties of every track . 👌🏼
Props on that double, that was awesome! I’m glad you hit it.
Thanks man!
Fair play. Great progress. I do love a good progression video 👌. Ride safe 👊.
Thank you man !
love the progress brotha!!! keep it up
Cant wait to see the 2023 funniest moments compilation been watching since the last one came out
Oh yeah!!!! Doubles like that for sure are the scariest. Great job man!
Thank you Ray! The ones with the deep gap between the jump and the landing always scare me the most haha
That is sick. Well done.
Can’t wait to try this.
Thank you dude you'll love motocross!
Track looks fun as. Great work on getting the track down too. Always intimidating the first time out on a new one 🤘🏻
I'm sure the track is way more fun if I hit all the jumps and started flowing. Gotta get over that fear and just do it I guess haha. Thank you for watching bro!
great progress man
Bro hell ya best feeling ever I'm starting to hit the bigger sx doubles and triples its crazy how easy it is once you do it I crashed yesterday jumping a Rhythm section I got sideways on the first double then whiskey throttled and it launched me off the next one I gotta fix my sub frame and heal a little bit but keep riding bro
Dude, that was so sick! Props for sending those doubles.
Thank you man I appreciate it!
I can’t say I’m ready to do jumps yet but u make it look easy as a noob 🤣
Good job getting that double conquered man and not letting it defeat you.
thanks milly 🤘🏼
Very nice riding. Dam u guys have some badass tracks back east.👍👍
thank you Chris! I've never rode anywhere but the east coast but we definitely have some amazing tracks over here!
Hey man, Just wanted to say keep up the great work!!!
Thanks dude I appreciate that !
love the vids bro
thank you bro!
Nice! I've been wanting to get back into mx. It's been 8 years or so (I'm 29 now), and already seems old for the sport, lol.
You're not too old man! I'm 30 and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. I meet 50+ year old riders at the track all the time that are still shredding.
Hell yeah, double looks stupid fun.
you would want it to be bigger haha
I miss riding so much when i see this videos haven't riden for a year but i can say 2 years money stoped me but gonna try 2024 again
Great job hitting both of those doubles, looks like the first one you was hitting looked bigger,..but heck yeah dude you got it..😁👍🔥🔥🔥
Yeah the first one, the step up thing, was definitely bigger but not as intimidating since I could see the landing. The second one with the deep gap and blind landing... Just trusted Jacob and followed him haha
@@DerekHallman yep..those are the more intimidating ones
I want to learn how to jump. Never done it but not sure on the things you have to do
Not gonna lie I thought you were a gonna for a second at 4:32 but dude you had that completely controlled, well done
I thought I was gonna go down actually haha just held on tight
@@DerekHallman fair enough lol
Did you start out on tracks? Or did you ride trails or something before you got into moto
Before moto I rode around some trails in my parents' backyard
homie pleade head up to claverack NY in march for this race its a great beginner track I have no doubt you'd have some fun
too far away bro !
that sucks dude, one of these times you have to lol we got good tracks
@@DerekHallman
Yer boy needed to give you "the skinny" on which jump/at what gear/ with where at RPM range.
hint most (doubles) jumps are Usually 4th gear mid-3/4 RPM range , not "all" but most.
0:58 heard that one before😔
You need to stop saying “your not comfortable enough for that” I used to be like that and then I grew a pair of balls and sent a big jump, now I’m the most confident I have ever been.
Lol
Not tryna hate but that’s how you grow confidence @@DerekHallman
@@lachie708 ok 👍🏻
