How to Use Ticket Vending Machine

A TAP card will not work on Metrolink, you must purchase your ticket online through a mobile app or at a Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) located at each station.
Once you have a Metrolink ticket, it can act as a TAP card within LA
County. Tickets that do not have a destination in Los Angeles County will not have a TAP logo and will not be TAP enabled. You must TAP when you transfer to the light rail. For buses, just show the driver your Metrolink ticket.
Outside of LA County, there are many options to transfer to buses. Time limits on Metrolink tickets don’t apply to connecting transit services. Ticket time limits are only for your trip onboard Metrolink trains. For more information, check the link below.
