I've just watched this film at the weekend and it was a beaut! The part where he threatens the policeman over the bag of heroine was acted beautifully.
I'm Irish and Iv seen a lot of movies about Irish gangsters.. But the wee man has to be best by far great acting especially Patrick Bergin who plays godfather arthar Thompson best performance since patriot games.. Great script well done Paul ferris and all the people involved in the film class job👌👏👏👏😎💯💯💯shout out from Ireland 🇮🇪💪👋🙏💯💯💯
They were no even allowed to make this classic in Glasgow,the bizzys & council put the blockers on cos they're blabbering about money to I'll gains & gangsters. When it's a really good movie 🎥 Compton plays a brilliant part I think & John Hannah as the Rat licenceeee of sorts , total blinder like the Footsoldier movies same lot & well made young lad got an award for his part and rightly so 10/10 viewing
Kinda ruins the effect when, in a film about Glasgow gangsters, everyone is speaking like they're talking to someone from Cornwall who can't get our accent
