This is very educational. Six years ago on our beach I witnessed two sea turtles coming ashore around 10pm and our beaches consist of 4 tourist towns on the East coast of North Florida. Unfortunately, the tourists don't have the understanding for the need of privacy and no lights during this time. Walking up they had surrounded the two females with their cell phones and flashlights. I didn't know what to do. Call the local police? it was me against over a dozen excited tourists. Reluctantly, I had to walk away down to my sleeping place and hope someone had the courage to rescue their exposure. Tourists visiting Florida that walk the beach at night need to be aware that lights are not permitted during turtle egg laying season and really, don't approach a sea turtle coming ashore.
WOW! I mean… I thought I was lucky to see 2 turtles within 8 foot of each other, but you caught them doing the dirty. And more showed up, amazing footage.
Wow, we love the little baby sea turtles. You were so lucky to see so many of them hatch together and get the footage of so many baby turtles in the water like that. We caught footage of one in the water, and his brothers and sisters made it in one and two at a time. We were glad we could protect them from the seagulls.
I love this video, you are a good story teller. I recently posted a teaser about our Sea turtle experience in Cebu, Philippines. Can't wait to post the full video, the coral reef in Cebu is also awesome and the marine sanctuary is divine.
I love sea turtles. I spend loads of time picking stuff out the seaweed rope plastic etc took me 6 months to clean up an entire coastline by myself. Disabled so can't lift heavy stuff and lot of it was heavy. So much fishermen leave in ocean too makes me angry. Fishermen in my tiny village 40 houses have zero respect they bury ropes nets into coastline throw plastic broken fishing tubs over into water. Zero respect. I maintain this coastline. Keeping it clean while everyone rise walks past the rubbish. Wish we all could vibrate 5th dimension
