Rather than charging them, they should be required to spend community service time caring for injured animals. That's the only way to really prevent repeat offenders...

Hey Jonathan. Great video as usual. found an article from Nat Geo that makes reference to a population of Kemps Ridley turtles in the 1940's of around 40000 in a single nesting location. Another article with an estimate in 2004 of around 7000-9000 and as low as 1000 nesting females today. What are the factors that create such a large deterioration of turtles?
I cried cause I want to be a marine biologist and I want to work with you but I don't know if you are but what ever you do I want to do what you are doing I will do anything to go to the ocean

briennabradley it’s natural for many babies of an animal to die when hundreds of offspring are produced, it’s not caused by pollution
