To be honest, I see the Bright Island campaign as additional levels to SE, just like Legend of the Beast complements FE. The plot in this campaign is a bit silly in my opinion, but the developers could hardly have come up with a better one. I liked the fact that Sam was voiced by John J Dick again, as well as a lot of scattered ammunition for any weapon. I didn't like the fact that at the levels of Sunken Pyramid and Forlorn Ruins, in some places, a lot of enemies spawn, from which you can easily die. I think it was worth adding invisibility at least in the final place of the Forlorn Ruins level, since this enhancement of Sam was never found in the original campaigns
Bright Island may be receiving a lot of criticism but I like it imo.
