During my 7 years working in Iraq and Afghanistan I had to pass through that overhyped litter box way too often. Sand, a big building, some boats, a mall, and a cool hotel. You can do 1.5 days there then get a Tshirt and adios.

What's the dress code in Dubai? I see a lot of skin. And can you hold hands in public or is it the kissing in public they frown on? I'm going in 2025 and I want to know. I know that once you go to a holy place you can't wear revealing clothes or show affection.

Yeah, just soulless tbh, maybe great if you go only for shopping but looks so boring as a holiday spot. It's not even that it's a shop, some shops and malls have lots of buzz but this feels cold and empty.
