Good job with these videos. They're really helping me understand how to play better. What villains would you like to see in a future expansion? My hopes are Frollo, Shan Yu, and Shere Khan.
Good video. There are three things however I slightly disagree with. The Crown: If played early I would use its gain 2 Power effect a few times. Mother Gothel's best locations are the Tower and Corona if they are not blocked and going between those locations starves Gothel. With the Crown Power often becomes a non issue even if Gothel's cards are cheap. Now I'm the Bad Guy: Never is a strong word, but IF Rapunzel is in Corona and you cannot move her away from there before the end of your turn you play that card if you drew it. You lose 1 Trust, but you would have lost that anyway, but now you have moved her back. Royal Guards: Yes best place is Corona, but if you have no other allies to play, using them to keep the Tower clear or kill Pascal can benefit Gothel a lot too.
Thanks! And if Gothel is short on power, then yes, gaining the power with the crown is preferable. And, yeah, NEVER say NEVER, I know, but ... there are so many ways to get Rapunzel back to her tower without using that card, one would have to be really REALLY desperate. I always say, the faster one can gain trust with Gothel, the more your opponents will focus on fating you and lose track of their own goals.
Yeah, I was gonna say the same about the Crown. Honestly, I only go for the Trust if the Trust would put me at or over 10 Trust. Since you don't need to discard the Crown for gaining Power, you can just keep milking it as much as possible until the time's right to get rid of it.
