Love the videos! When are you going to start the Star Wars series?

Very nice strategy. Doubling up curses like that is a must to protect them from being removed. Of course when and what you get in your hand affects any and all strategies. How many times has the Treasure map and Peter Pan been at the bottom of their respective decks when playing Hook? Or the only curses you draw seem to be Green Fire (there are three) while the rest all seem to have ended up at the bottom? I have found that Maleficent's Raven tends to draw (like Hades Chariot) a lot of Fate attacks to try and get rid of it asap. But again a good strategy to work towards if you are lucky with your hand.

One really good Strat I like to do is play Green Fire on the Forbbiden Mountain and Briar Rose’s Cabin and just have Diablo move back and forth from those spots, keeping him safe from Prince Philip.

Man I Remember This Game And Honest Right Now Its A Bit Difficult At First But After Understanding One Character Faster Then You Can Easily Win Or Works A Lot

My poor poor wife: last night we did our 1st battle with Mom Gothel (Tangled) and I was KC. She pulled the VVS card and thought it was a MUST play ( a la Peter Pan) so she played her rather than the other (TBF I thought it was a must play too). Started the Big Race decently early. Into TBR 16:11 she pulled this one and the card at top of my pile was "can't be allowed to race" which got ger 1 away from finish. KC was 3 away so I won. I kept telling her to NOT go one offensive bc what VVS does FOR KC but she still did. At least now we know discard her and its totally fine to attack KC, even moreso now

Honestly I don't even have the base game, don't know the rules, but still gonna buy it just because of the dice.

You know whats funny, You replay the other characters which makes me wanna do the nefarious nightmare which has Maleficent, Jafar, Hades, Ratigan, Gaston, Lotso, King Candy and Shere Khan unless i'm missing the other character you replay as😅

Ursula was one of the first characters I tried to play. Was still trying to learn the game with my family. She’s really hard. I still don’t quite understand her. She has a harder strategy than I would like her to have but I would really want to play or more. She’s just so hard.

I think I agree that you should just play Trident to Ursula’s Lair but I think there is one exception and that is if you have the Green Binding Contract (the one tied to Ursula’s lair) in your hand in which case I’d play the Trident to Eric’s ship, play the green binding contract, then move Triton to Ursula’s lair on the next turn. It is a rare scenario and not something you should try for but if you have the Green Contract and Trident in your hand that is ideal.

So what happens if ( sure to pick up his trail) is played and baloo and mowgli are out. Can that insta vanquish baloo or treat it as adding power

Shouldn't that card have cost 2 at 15:03.? I kinda new at playing as him.

Man I just bought the game from my local store and it's the old version apparently darn it. Is it worth buying or is there like a print version available just with these changes? Is it really that impactful?

1) I don't know if its the great average number of turns to win in "Solo" Villainous yet it still fun. 2) Yeah, I wouldn't mind introducing people to Villainous in a Disney Version, if not the Remaster Disney Version. Also the Remastered Version is meant to be a super easy way to learn Villainous until you go for the most difficult versions either Regular Disney/Star Wars/Marvel. 3) Strike A Good Anticipation For Others To Play Villainous In Any Version My Friend

OK 3 Things To Say (Other Comment Will Talk About Your Gameplay): 1) Disney Villainous will continue the expansions but the only thing we have to do is look out for any news in particular for us to see. 2) Either Star Wars/Marvel? I would say Star Wars because it's significantly different than Marvel to make this type of game intermediate. 3) I GOT MY HANDS ON SUGAR & SPITE YESTERDAY ON A WALMART OF ALL PLACES But I don't get that I rarely find any Villainous on a Target yet instantly find anything anywhere else.

Not a bad win right here & I thought the Clever Disguises are gonna slow you down but gladly Robin Hood is in the Jail before any more heroes come

Hook is definitely easier than the original. Not having the hideout locked means Hook has access to more power from the start and with the new tweak to the map it's easier to find Peter. However this leaves poor Jafar at a disadvantage as he is still stuck with his lock space making him now a level harder than Ursula and Hook where before the three were balanced in difficulty. For me only the changes to Prince John's objective (which brought him in line with the movie) are a good change for me. But for beginners this is definitely an easier introduction that the original box. Can I put in a vote of Marvel Villainous? Or is it just not a good game for solo play. Certainly I have found that too many of the villains - Thanos and Loki especially - can only really be played against at least one more player and the more players the better. Is that your view as well? If not Star Wars Villainous.

Just curious, what would we get from advanced Disney Villainous guides? Would it just be the best strategy how to complete each Villain’s objective as effectively as possible? Because it felt like you already have good strategies in your initial overview of each character.

I think Prince John’s changes were pretty nice, I do kinda wish they made Robin Hood more of a threat but other than that the changes made are good.

Thanks for this video! I like the tweaks on Prince John to mix it up, but he still wins rather easily. I like the idea of placing Warrant at Sherwood Forest. I tend to stack Warrants at the Jail and then score up to six power with every Set a Trap. He's practically unstoppable either way.

Morning Sir. This is actually the one changed villain that might convince me to buy this box. The changes made make Prince John both more interesting. This should have been how he always played with this additional focus on capturing Robin Hood along with gathering all the money (as it was in the movie). I think he is still easy to stop as he will still be the target of every other player fate action and it's still the easiest to see how well he is going. But I do like the way it adds a little to PJs victory conditions. Robin Hood could be at the bottom of the fate deck meaning you have fated yourself with more and more heroes clogging your board (yes Lovely taxes comes into play but its still rather limiting.) Overall a nice tweak to freshen up the most basic villain in the game.

Maybe you could play and do some guides for custom villainous on tabletopsimulator. The have some awesome custom villains

Im confused on the turbo tastic card, can i just play it at anytime or do you have to be near a play a card to use this card to play another action?

So far what version do you prefer? I've been thinking about getting ITE but I'm not sure

Thanks for the playthrough. I think she ishas become just as OP as before, just in a different way. Yes there is the additional requirement of having a goon before playing a curse but you showed by a deft use of the move action that its easy to spread around the curses from just two locations. Personally I think they should have completely re thought her victory conditions with a main requirement of finding and cursing Aurora with Dreamless sleep (Maybe by using the spinning wheel) - you know like the story/film. More challenging but in line with Hook and Jafar CVs.

I’m still holding out that they’ll make an expansion that includes an updated Jafar and Queen of Hearts, just so that if you want to get those characters without having to buy an entire other starter set you have the option. Plus those two needed some work because Jafar was way too hard and Queen of Hearts was way too OP.

Could you maybe unbox, review and play solo of marvel villainous?

When you played bravo bravo for 0 power, even though play a card was blocked, you can’t do that I don’t think since you’re still playing a card, even though it’s free. Loved the video though!

Thank you for this show and tell. I was curious about what if any changes there had been made in this box set. I am in two minds about the new Ursula. Old Ursula was one of the hardest to play but it was (from a purest point of view) closer to the film story. It makes sense that Ursula cannot enter the palace until she has changed form and equally as obvious that in this new form she is locked from going back to her lair. Flotsam and Jetsum never attacked anyone (let alone gang up to defeat Triton), they were Ursula's manipulative minions not her soldiers. The contracts made sense. You make the deal and are fine until the term of the contract is met (ie moved to that specified location) That all being said for beginners the new version is easier to pick up and play for beginners and far more playable and competitive against others who are known for quick straight forward win conditions like Prince John. So while I think this makes New Ursula good for new people, for veterans I'd say only those who really want to have every variant of Disney Villainous should buy this. Curious to know whether the other three villains in this box have been tweaked as well.

So I think for any rules that differ in introduction to evil, you and all other players agree on which rules to do. My family actually does a mix of both the original rule set and introduction to evil, we all start on the profile picture regardless of what villain you play as, and the amount of power you start with depends on the turn order like in the original. In other words think of it like a switch that you can either do the original rules or the new rules.
