Can we say that sex is socially constructed because the very concept of associating names/statuses to bodies having certain physical characteristics was developed by us humans. None of us is born with a specific mention of sex or gender. It's the society that has decided that body types that have male reproductive parts are men and the ones with female reproductive parts are women. What if the first human born with male characteristics was given the name/status of 'woman'? The whole idea of sex is based on a society's decision to give names to certain bodily features.
