does that include giving people breaks on sentences if they got the COVID vaccines? She should keep her political views out of the court room. Her job is to ignore the outside things and base her decisions solely on the evidence in front of her. That's why courts used to have the statue with the eyes blindfolded to signify they don't see a difference in gender, race, religion, political or financial standing.

A lot of people claim to be home health providers. Many states will pay relatives to care for someone and they do not have to prove literacy. Illinois is one of those states. My youngest brother had my cousin care for him for a couple of months, until she flipped out from drugs. And she was illiterate. Waste of a human. He then moved in with me and got proper care until he died. And I didn’t get paid. The state often skipped out on his care because I was a nurse. Even though I physically couldn’t lift him, they blew him off because all they saw was that I was a nurse. Didn’t matter that I was disabled. I injured myself further in order to keep him safe and clean.

    • @jenx5870

There is a difference between a Home Health Care Worker and a Home Care Provider. A Home Health Care Worker is trained by a licensed and state accredited company. A licensed RN then trains and oversees them. They have their background checked, and they must be able to read and write in English. A Home Care Provider is someone who is paid by the state (SSI or SSdI) to come into the home of a friend or family member and perform what we call Activities of Daily Living on them. There is a big difference, and Home Health Care Agencies don't just let anyone care for their clients. If anyone is found to abuse, neglect, or misappropriate (steal), they are immediately put on a leave to be investigated. If found true, they are terminated, reported to the state agency, and put on a registry that is statewide. That way, other agencies can see that they were found to have done that. This makes it impossible for them to be hired in healthcare again, unless they go before The Board and they remove them from said registry. That's nearly impossible, unless they prove that something drastic changed. I am an RN of 28 yrs who was a Director of a Home Health Agency, as well as having been a Director of Nurses for years, state certified to teach state classes, etc. I know the differences between the two, as well as state codes.

Felt my share of loneliness, but why do people (mainly women) put themselves in situation where they think they need to be in a relationship. Why would you go live with "a great man" when that man cannot support themselves such as rent. Don't date men who live with a family member and then move in with them, if they can't live on their own why do you need to be with them. Women should never rely on a man for f8nanc8al support or financially support them. It is just a shame that so many women do this, women are intelligent and compassionate, be independent and dont rely on men who can't make you whole.

He got thrown to the ground and got charged with failure to stop and eluding. He didn’t fight or resist he knew that he had proof that the cop never “pulled him over” at the 1st preliminary hearing, the videos were played and the charges were immediately dismissed and he was reimbursed for the tow and storage.

I have often wondered how someone who works, and has a family, can do daily sober meetings. Sometimes it's 90 meetings in 90 days. It just seems like a lot.

    • @mothersuperior6751

It takes hard work to stay sober.
The idea is to keep them busy and focused on being sober. These days meetings can be attended on Zoom. So not even travel time involved. The meetings provide resources and connections to live life sober.
It is not easy. But it is what it takes to change habits and to re focus.

When you get sober and is sincere, you can find a meeting just like drugs 24/7 availability and you have to chase sobriety like drugs! When you have a spare 30 minutes catch a meeting and start the same thing that very next day, being sober is a discipline and when you REALLY want it 90 meetings is nothing, it's not even half as exhausting as chasing drugs you will be amazed! God bless everyone with a sober spirit amen.

This judge fines someone who's struggling, to find work with a bad shoulder. Dang how many classes does she expect someone to do, if she expects them to work ? It's one or the other. She needs to work to pay the fine. But then she has to do another class and probably pay a fee for that.
    I'd rather go to jail.

Please. She was moving her shoulder just fine when she was shrugging and waving her arm around. I work full time as an RN with a torn rotator cuff, because I can't afford surgery. I also have CRPS in my right ankle, which is rated as the worst pain there is. She committed a crime. She can suck it up and take the parenting class while holding down a job, which is only eight hours per day. I worked and got a second degree while being a widow with a son at home. I am now not only an RN, but have degrees in IT Networking and Cybersecurity, which I did in the evening and weekends. I got a 4.0 GPA, too. I think she can handle one class and one job. Some people even work... (gasp) two jobs to make ends meet.
