Exactly. You can tell in this case he was just misplacing his frustration, and as soon as she helped him understand the context he acted appropriately.

Attorney was pleased, judge was pleased, probation was happy, and most of all the defendant was happy and PROUD of their progress. The system works if you work it. The thing is, the system spends $100,000 to try and make it work for them, and this guy truly seems like he appreciates it. I hope he keeps on the straight and narrow.

@@___Bruh__ Yes, you watch some of these, and the Judge does seem to realise these people are just get shoved through a sausage machine. Just cutting off some ones defense is rude. Just explain the procedure.
If people understand the process, and whats happening maybe they have more respect for it.

I watch these and I just don't understand how inappropriate folks act. He was doing great and some folks are just shockingly bad. They yell & scream at the police officers and they think that is normal behavior. They must because so many act that way. I just have never seen anyone in real life act like folks do on these court/Police TH-cam channels. 7:39

I agree!! Seeing Judge Boyd praise the defendant, hearing the probation officer’s glowing report, and watching the defendant genuinely thank the judge was awesome. It’s nice to see when things are going well, not just the cases where the defendant’s deferred sentence is being revoked and he’s being remanded into custody (although those can be pretty entertaining too!). Thank you, CourtCam, for providing a variety of different hearings and outcomes!

The second guy had somewhat of a guardian angel looking out for him by him not realizing that Judge Boyd extended his curfew from 4 pm to 6pm. By believing that he had to be home by 4pm, it ensured that he was always home two early. I’m not saying that he would have messed up had he known he had until 6, but there’s a lot of defendants I see in her court that I would bet a million dollars on, that they’d somehow find a way to get in trouble between those extra two hours.

Not gonna' lie..., I was glad to see that bigger, male bailiff get behind the first guy. Judge Boyd needs to be protected at all costs... ❤ I was impressed with the guy who was in compliance. This is the only second case where I have seen someone completing their probation properly.

I love how the ones in Jail orange (indicating that they're on remand for some reason) are the onex who are the innocent victims of a frame-up and that they don't have time for this.
