Alice Cooper who is widely considered to be the father of "Shock Rock" has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, and while he is known for his rock career, most do not know that he is a committed Christian. Cooper and Laurie talk about his journey to faith, and how he has used his faith to help at-risk young men in his community. Growing up in a Christian home, Alice Cooper always knew he needed Christ, but it took a dramatic turn in a drug-induced haze when he knew he needed to recommit to Jesus Christ.

With all due respect, being in agreement with Alice Cooper on Jesus Christ being a rebel was disappointing.
Previously Alice was idolizing himself and now idolizing Jesus. so basically he is still a polytheist...Idol worship is the mother of all sins...God ALONE is worthy of worship NOT Jesus, Marry, Mohd, Sai Baba, Buddha, dead saints, dead messengers etc.
He was rebelling against the devil.

Wow, I'm very happy to hear this. When I was younger I heard the
Song "No More Mr. Nice Guy". I liked the melody, and I liked the words, and my opinion of Alice Cooper became positive of him. He had it all along, just needed a nudge to see God's goodness and favor. God Bless you both for making a difference in many people's lives through this testimony!!

My guess is that a lot of people say it´s a AA thing, and he´s just hooked to another thing or whatever...but no, you can see and hear it in what he says, Alice is seeing the light!
And to this day he is still put out great albums and it is still a fun theatrical show. The greatest ever.
I'm going to see Alice cooper live April first 2020 I had tickets to see him live October fourth 2004 my mother passed away from breast cancer October first 2004 I have been through a lot but I agree with Alice cooper the lord works miracles like if I have trouble sleeping he makes sure I sleep when I pray to him glad Alice is living a clean And comfortable life

View with caution. I literally rejoiced in my heart when I heard Alice Cooper was a Christian. As a born-again Christian myself, I was telling everyone. Then I did some research. In a 3/2018 interview with Newsweek (culture section) Alice Cooper states, ""My wife and I are both Christian," Cooper tells the News. "My father was a pastor, my grandfather was an evangelist. I grew up in the church,"
But his father, Ether Moroni Furnier, was a pastor in The Church of Jesus Christ, a Mormon denomination developed after the death of Joseph Smith. Alice Cooper grew up in the Mormon church. And as we know, Mormon's call themselves Christians, but are not. Mormonism is a cult and does not believe in the Triune Godhead (Father, Son and Holy Spirit as one). Jesus is NOT God to a Mormon, but only the Son of God.
Has anyone ever asked Alice Cooper if he is a born-again Christian or a Mormon? Lots of cults call themselves Christian, but they are false religions.

Glad he committed his life to Christ. However Jesus was NOT a rebel! He spoke truth and called the religious leaders out on the carpet because what they were doing was wrong.
He was very much a rebel....he rebelled against the other religions that didn’t believe specifically in his God. He preached to all about Christianity and rebelled against those who didn’t believe. That’s a rebel
I agree. It's a poor choice of words, as the Bible equates rebellion with witchcraft, something Jesus was never guilty of. Satan was the rebel in the Bible. I do kinda get what they mean though, He stood up to the religious establishment, so they viewed Him as a rebel, but His heavenly Father certainly didn't, as He always did the will of His Father, and was obedient unto death.
I don't see why Mr. Fournier (AKA Alice Cooper) wasn't told about Paul's warning in 1 Cor. 15:33 -- Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good character.”
And how will anyone hear the gospel if Christians ignore the lost?

We aren't to participate in sin in order to bring others to Christ. That doesn't even make sense and God doesn't approve of that approach. The songs they sing and perform are vile, profane and contrary to the word of God so how does that glorify Him? It doesn't, it glorifies Satan and any Christian with The Holy Sprit would see and know that.

My first concert...Motor City Deeetroit,.....Alice Cooper opened by Billy Squire..... Even then he couldn't quite pull off the evil personality it was like more of an animated show .... You couldn't fear Alice it was like he was just having fun..... Don't know how to explain it but glad hes my brother in Christ

If not he needs to do it right now, no delay it's absolutely required to be baptized to confess with your mouth in front of living witnesses that you accept Jesus Christ as your God, your king, your savior. You dont go in his kingdom without doing so.

As you need to be aware if not already aware , after the
2008 economic rash most of the population of people over 40 needing a job after
having their savings and pensions wiped
out had to go back to work and start over - but they refused and blocked
from entering the job market - skilled, talented, experienced, and
law-abiding, sober, joyful and peaceful citizens, Companies since then and to this day will
only hire young ‘recent” college graduates in their 20’s and 30’s, giving them
fat salaries and fully paid health
benefits, free lunches, and gym
discounts. All people over 40 needing jobs
since the 2008 economic crash lost not only their homes and savings, but their
families, their friends, and their health as a result of this perverted age discrimination.
Abrom B. a wonderful kind man, a native New Yorker, who has
had for many years been a corporate sales person, as well as being a talented
drummer in old time Jazz bands -- Abrom went homeless this past week from long
term age discrimination in the job market which he had been experiencing since
the 2008 crash and this age discrimination has been the form of genocide across
major American cities.
The long-term unemployment had made him ill, and he
recovered, then his elderly parents became ill so he moved in with them and
took care of them, but they passed on.
Abrom then had no place to live and still no job, and still no one who would
hire him due to him being over the age of 40, even though he had great
experience and skills - he had acquired a few short-term low-paying high-turnover temporary jobs over the years
but nothing that would keep a roof over.
After his parents died, he had no choice but to move in with a friend
from distant high school years who was a drug addict. Abrom lived with his friend for five years,
in a dirty apartment with roaches and rats, while he continued to look for a
job while also being held back by the bureaucracy of the social service (Welfare)
system in New York City that to this day has done nothing for him to get on his
feet, and get a roof over his head, an environment of oppression and cruelty.
Abrom can no longer stay with his drug addict friend who was
finally evicted from his apartment due to nonpayment of rent. Abrom B is and has been a devoted Christian
whose father was Jewish and his mother Catholic. Abrom grew up in Brooklyn and his passion was
old time big band jazz music - Since the 2008 crash he has cried himself to
sleep because no church or synogue or Christian who is in a position to help
has been willing to see his worth and value enough to do so., and give him a
steady decent paying job so he could earn his own bread and keep a roof over
his head and food on the table simply because of the fact that he is over40
years old.
The churches in America ask for our tithes, and they teach
people to live not for rich and fame but to live for each other, and in peace,
work and earn your own bread- but when one does so, also like Abrom did and so
many Americans have - they were not
protected when they fell down during the economic crash, and they were not
lifted up, and they were left to die by their families, friends, and their
priests and pastors and the churches and communities in America.
Churches and charitable organizations bring our tithes into
other countries to help others in building wells for water, and build hospitals, and schools etc. but they have absolutely
no time or resources for their neighbor and member of the community and
church. Instead, they direct them to a
demonic -barren resource that have no love or any real substance such as the social
service system that only enslaves people, which are experienced by the needy as
a kind of hell on earth. Why are your
own neighbors and children in your own nation and cities neglected pastors and
churches?
The Pastors still stand behind the pulpit crying about abortion
being murder - yet, the murder of an
entire demographic of talented, law-abiding, sober, skilled and experienced,
willing and able to work Americans over 40 - we don’t hear anything about their
destruction through age discrimination.
Pastors will burn in hell for allowing this genocide to continue
- every leader of every church in America should be addressing this issue now -
they should also be preaching to every employment agency, every hiring manager,
every corporate leader, and every recruiter that there is blood upon their
hands in regard to this age discrimination,
because it is a planned and calculated murder of innocent people who have done
no one wrong except to reach past the age of 40 - Reaching past the age of 40
is not a crime or a sin - in fact a person over 40 in most cases has wisdom to
share that the younger generation needs to be around, especially in the work
place and in the family.
Since the 2008 economic crash many Americans over 40 years
of age since then have become prematurely mentally and/or physically ill, or
have prematurely died, many have lost
their families both spouse, children, and elderly parents, and lost their purpose
and place within their communities and this is murder in the eyes of God. Stop allowing these murder churches of
America. Remember though shall not kill - be merciful to one another as the
Lord as been forgiving and merciful to you.

Brother, there are many great rock and roll musicians who repented of their sins and live a life of love for the Lord. Some of the greatest guitarists to ever hit a note gave their lives to Jesus Christ of Nazareth and are not looking back.

Let's not be careless how we use out words or be swayed by a celebrity who says some convincing things (not saying he isn't saved, I don't know). But the gospel wasn't stated here. Let us be transformed by the renewing of our minds, being transformed by and conformed to the truth of God's Word. Just preach the word of God and stop with the gimmicks. If what i seen on some videos after he was suppose to became a Christian its scary to see him on stage dressed and looking like He does. He looks the same as he use to on stage. The way they dress and look. I thought He needs to get reed of the old Alice cooper. Gods people do not look and act like that on stage singing for God. I look at his band im sure the glory doesnt go to God but to him and His band. I wonder what Him and His band live like behind close doors do they pray do they read their bible do they ever go to Church to hear the message from Gods word. You dont reach the world or Christian teens by looking and acting like the world. Im afraid Alice has deceived himself into thinking He is ok when hes not. Devil Destroyer, please put down your gavel of judgement. Please reconsider your position, and carefully weigh these words. Jesus , the physician, the great healer came to save the sick. Not trying to judge here but, I am sure there are alot of lost souls in Alice's fanbase and social circles.. Do you believe those who look to Alice would be more easily persuaded by or trust a person dressed in a three piece suit? Show me where in the bible does it describe that Jesus, when he was preaching or interacting with others in everyday situations, was dressed differently than those whom he was trying to reach. God came to earth in human form in order to more closely relate to people where they were. Not trying to compare Alice to Jesus here, but isn't trying to reach someone more effective if they feel they can relate to you. If you look like them maybe there is more common ground, shared experiences, etc.. that would result in them trusting you more. Alice would benefit greatly from our prayers as he is definitely walking a high wire over fire while trying to pull others to safety. Satan is surely not too happy to lose a disciple and will not stop at anything to drag him back into his grip. Alice could have found salvation FOR himself and kept it TO himself, but instead has taken a brave stand which could result in losing the respect of his fans, and future earnings. I commend him on his courage. Please don't make the mistake of molding God into OUR image or pretend to know what God's people look like. You are afraid that Alice may have been deceived, but maybe it's you that is being deceived. I believe that when God calls us to come out of the world He is talking about leaving behind our worldly values and behaviors--- the selfish, cruel, greedy, unrighteous ways of thinking and living or boldly flaunting our sins---not isolating ourselves on a rock condemning and avoiding all those whom look, act or think differently than we do. How are we to be a light to the world if the world can't see us. Are you going to suggest that there are no souls in need of Christ where Alice is seen and respected? God has placed Alice here, and God has a ministry wherever people hear and obey his call. And by Alice's choice, with God's help, to stop using one of the world's most addictive drugs, surely that must qualify as leaving the old ways behind and becoming a new creation---a sober human! Also, his reconciliation with his wife, and his effort to positively affect the youth in his area speak volumes of his character and generosity. Wishing the peace and love of Christ to all!
