As a child, while reading the Indian history in school, I was always very fascinated by the Indian history. I truly at that point wished to be an archeologer, just to know more about India, and our history. At that I didn't have much knowledge about Mahabharata or Ramayan, it was only in the form of some TV Serials or some extracts I read in some text. But even still I used to connect or rather tried to connect this with Mahabharata or Ramayan. I am so grateful to have watched this episode. So grateful to have been listening to Dr. Vineet Aggarwal for a while now, and in knowing that today somewhere, some child may find a direction, if not answers to their quest of India. And it will be thanks to people like you, who have put their lives towards actually trying to know and embrace India. As a child in convent schools I have always had a deep fascination towards the western themes, but truly slow and steady so much has changed because of guys like you and so many others. Hopefully one day I will be going to all these places, feeling a bit more proud and happy about our culture. Truly truly grateful! ❤

" bimbisara and ajatsātru were from haryanka dynasty not shishunaga/sunga." no, actually for this Vishnu Puran Skand 4 chapter 24/25 , Matsya Puran Chapter 271-273 , Bhagvat Puran Skand 12 chapter 1 clearly states them as Shishunagas

East India company was named as East India company not because they started their colonial voyage from the Eastern side of India. By 1492, in search of India, Christopher Columbus went to the west of the globe and discovered West Indies, the land of red Indians. Thereafter by 1498 Vasco da Gama finally discovered our India through Sea-route and since then Europe termed India as East India. Long After, in 1600, merchants of England formed a company in London to set in for India rather than East India for trading via sea route. They named their company as East India Company with approval from their the then queen Elizabeth. Moreover, not only by the British, but, by then East India companies were formed in other European countries as well. In fact Britain East India Company was one of the last one's along with the French to reach East India / India. 7:30

He said in Ashok's edicts his name is not written. I searched and I found about this information. in Maski addict, his name is written
From wikipedia: The Minor Rock Edicts are often Buddhist in character, and some of them specifically mention the name "Asoka" (, center of the top line) in conjunction with the title "Devanampriya" (Beloved-of-the-gods).
    This information also.
Ashoka uses his name only in four of these places namely:
    Maski,
    Brahmagiri (Karnataka),
    Gujjara (MP) and
    Nettur (AP).

If Mahabharata / kurukshetra war happened during 3500BC, the weapons must be bronze or extra terrestrial, right? Because we haven't so far excavated iron of that period from that area. We got the evidence that the presence of iron in the area is ,only 1500 BCE onwards.

If we collect all data ,put in model . Then it is easier to connect dot. We got periodic table with vaccent elements of history & dug to fill gap. For all this activity there is collaboration between technical & arts branch's. If you really interested in history new asiatic society should cop up, you got croud funding.

I'm dumbfounded, surprised and amazed, as well as enraged as to how our history has been mythified and distorted. However, I would like to add to Vineet sir's question "why we have not excavated?" Because Congress ruled for 60+ years and was only interested in looting, they are basically parasitic extensions of Mughals and British. Now even Modiji is focused on bringing Bharat out of its exploits and reestablish its economy and geopolitical power. He is slowly reviving certain major historic sites such as Ram Mandir and Kashi Vishwanath corridor but to be able to have proper excavations, we need to have proper stability on a global level. From a perspective that history is not helping us rebuild, it is our past that needs to be reclaimed only after we are well off in present and future.
