    There are a few moments I will always remember as the most epic ones.
    1.The middle section of seventh son on the maiden England video
    2.the middle section of heaven can wait,where to roadys come on stage.
    3.the first time Bruce returned on the ed Hunter tour.
    4. The whole rock In Rio DVD!
    5. And the Eddie moment during Iron Maiden on the life after death tour

      Well, I don't know, I'd say The Prophecy, Quest for Fire, Invaders, and some more tracks are far below average. That said, Invaders is the only one that even comes close to "sucking"

      @eddierattlehead2443 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@fatpanda3305 I respect your opinion, but I completely disagree about Invaders. It's a sick classic opener, with one of my favorite Maiden Guitar works. It definitely is far from their best, but nor does it come close to sucking.

    • @matthewclark7952
      @matthewclark7952 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Fat Panda - It's all subjective of course, each to their own but I absolutely love The Prophecy. SSoaSS is arguably my favourite Maiden album, there isn't a bad song on it. What would my least favourite song of theirs be I wonder... Possibly Holy Smoke, not sure.

    Holy effen shit!! It boggles the mind HOW MANY KICK ASS SONGS they have in their arsenal!! I mean, holy hell!! No other band, maybe other than Judas priest, could sell out doing a separate "decades tour"
    If Maiden did a tour with only songs from 80s: monstrous!!
    90s? Epic!
    2000s? Sold out!
    2010s? Successful!!
    Just unbelievable. What a band.

    I really enjoy your embracement of post-1988 material. So many Iron Maiden rankings are predictable, with the likes of The Trooper, Aces High, Children of the Damned or Run to the Hills ALWAYS being near the top

    Good job! I know there is no video from the Maiden Japan Tour, but check out "Strange World" Nagoya 1981. It should be included too. Up the Irons! My top moments from this compilation: 5. Hallowed Be Thy Name (Hammersmith 1982), 10. Sea Of Madness (Bercy 1986).

    for me the most captivating emotional Iron Maiden moment is their performance of revelations on their live after death album, a great performance of one of their classics then right at the end someone in the crowd shouts mother f""ker as a show of appreciation as he knew he had just heard something special

    I may have placed Fear of the dark, and Hallowed be thy name a little closer to the top, but I couldn't fault the number one slot. That moment it explodes into the guitars piece is incredible. I was lucky enough to see them live last month in Barcelona. When they played this bit I had a lump in my throat. They truly are the best.

      Yeah I agree, great clips but lacking "emotion". Besides, it's pretty subjective as to what each of us would feel in music anyway, but most Maiden tracks give me goosebumps at some point.

    I hate to say it but Maiden was better without Di'Anno............better without Straton..........better without Bailey...AND, lets face it........better without Gers.
    The only possible swap I'd make in Maiden's history would be Burr (RIP) for McBrain but that would be a marginal call. I'd rather two drummers than the current three "lead guitarist".

    • @MisfitNightmare
      @MisfitNightmare 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I understand that people hate changes, especially in music, but c'mon, Maiden today sounds wayyy better than they have sounded back then. So learn to accept the changes, because sometimes they can be good and in this case they are good.
      I like and RESPECT every musician who was/is in Maiden and I think every fan should do that. I mean okay, I don't like Paul Di'Anno that much, but I still respect him. Idk what is everyone's problem with Blaze or Janick. They are both great musicians. Okay, Blaze couldn't sing like Bruce but there are great songs from The X factor and Virtual XI. I remember watching an interview with Maiden and someone said that it is not Blaze's fault that he pushed his voice to Bruce level, it's Maiden's fault. But the only thing I can't understand is hate towards Janick.. What's wrong with being active on stage? What's wrong with guitar tricks? Gods, if I'd be a guitarist I'd be the same. What's the point of watching guitarist on stage who only stand still and play, without any emotions or so? Also his solos are pretty emotional, like Blood brothers or Wasting love solos.
      If you really like the band and consider yourself a fan of the band then have RESPECT for every musician in that band.

      @matthubbard951 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Disagree mate. Gers is a huge part of creating the music for some of Maiden’s better songs (Dance of Death, Ghost of Nav., Talisman, Legacy). He also adds an edge and a recklessness that keeps it interesting and fresh. Many of the solos that he plays live are not very good, but especially when he plays some of AD’s old solos. But, when he plays his solos, he usually sounds decent and sometimes they are inspiring

    • @m42037
      @m42037 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes Clive Burr was the best drummer Maiden ever had, Steve was a ass**** asking him to leave after his father died. The rumors of "indulgence's" were false Clive made it clear and Bruce wasn't happy with Clive leaving and said he wasn't happy with what happened and that he was the best drummer Maiden ever had. My favourite Maiden record is Killers, I think the best record was # it's what made them big in America

  • @m42037
    @m42037 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    What a clown whoever made this, only one song off "Number Of The Beast, the record that made Maiden big in the states, and you can't even see Clive Burr, such disrespect to their late and best drummer the band ever had. 👎
