Do you have a problem with the smoke coming out of the chimney. Does the smell of burning wood effect deer, turkey, hog hunting. Im about to put my mini cast iron wood stove in my blind but dont want to ruin my season on the smoke or smell
I think there will be a variety of answers to this question. I *believe* if you are in an area where deer regularly smell wood smoke, it is not an issue. I have had multiple deer come within 35 yards of this deer fort while the stove was ripping and they never knew I was there. I actually believe it helps cover human scent. I am definitely not an expert, that is just my experience. I would also say it's not an issue with turkey. The only issue I could see is possibly the popping and cracking of burning wood. ?? Sorry, I have no idea on the hogs. Would love to hog hunt sometime, though. Thanks for watching!
