Bloody sucks! We purchased our 2011 second hand... within 12 months, the injectors needed doing :( Still have an electrical gremlin in ther too! Hopefully it's cheaper than expected

Bad luck guys. Definitely get a second opinion. I am not a Toyota man but some people suggested it could have been a bit dusted. Get it checked. Turbos should ladt 500,000kms if treated wrll, like letting them cool down abit after continuous towing when you pull up. Good luck.

Had to do mine in 2023, went for an upgrade -GTurbo G380’s Can highly recommend for extra grunt to tow your new van. If you haven’t already fit one, I’d be fitting a Donaldson air filter housing too!! I fitted the turbos myself to save on cost, which I wouldn’t recommend.. you won’t see change outta $10k 😢

Sorry to say but if you have to replace turbos, then there's a good chance it's been dusted! Don't replace turbos without getting it compression tested properly.

I have had i injector issues after getting it tuned. They were replaced under warranty before the tune. I also would suggest doing a proper check on your injectors as well (not just the cold start). Perhaps looking at gturbos and larger injectors from somewhere like justautos maybe the most ideal solution.

At 300000km…. Maintaining it will only keep going up…. And hopefully you are one of the few that don’t have “Dusting “ issues with that engine…. If it was me…. Time to trade in for a much lower km car.

Oh guys I am so sorry that this has happened to you it’s always the way when you start getting ahead in life there is always something that comes along with no warning. Hope you guys are at the Gold Coast and those guys can fix it for you.

Sorry to hear the news. But your right, when it needs maintenance what can you do.

i use a length of 90 mm sewer pipe painted black --water in one end out the other and on the sunny side of the van .Careful --it gets very hot during the day . I use a post hole digger for a toilet.

Unless you shit or piss yourself I don't see any problem with wearing the same clothes for 3 or 4 days, and just change socks and jocks every one or even two days. It's not a fashion contest when you are camping so who cares what anyone else thinks.

Shoot Oil leaks hahaha I drove from Sydney to Adelaide and back to Sydney in 3 Days one Xmas with and Brand-new V8 engine fitted in me Panel Van leaking out the rear main-seal used more oil than petrol ! Almost 😳😳 , Adventures are just the thing for learning along the way. Another top episode 👍👍 🖐🏿 go the five 🖐🏿

They all weep in the rear main mine has done it for 6 years but has never been enough to drip or affect the oil level.

Don't switch your lights on at night, if you or the kids are watching the television the light off that is good enough to light up the caravan.

Loving the travelling again allan is the same as tj he watched all the you tube channels but Stacey only watches if allan’s watching and feels the same cause she edits the episodes she just doesn’t want to spend hours watching you tube
