As a layperson, i can't cut wires and install this myself. who can i get to install this and how much? i know i can buy and install the wireless solar license plate front and back cams by myself, but no one makes wireless side camera kits too so this is the best although you need hard-wiring. Maybe next year someone will make a totally wireless/solar/battery powered 4-channel kit for cars?
@@larryc1616 Hi Larry! there are dash cam installers that will either do it at your house or in their shop, at one point Best Buy was also doing installs (not sure if you have to buy from them in order for them to install it) Prices seems to vary quite a bit from installer to installer, depending on the complexity of the install. I recommend getting a few quotes so you can make an informed decision on picking an installer. Hope this helps, Cheers!
Well, I almost bought this set up but I thought it was pointless to only have one side camera seeing how there's two sides to everything lol, but I do think it's a step in the right direction for sure. As far as the reflection on these mirror cameras goes, I just tinted my rear window @ 5% & just use the camera as my rear view mirror. The tint doesn't completely eliminate the reflection but it does help quite a bit. If you really want to have all sides of your vehicle covered, you could get the RV camera set up. Hmmm, hey Alex maybe that's something you should think about doing an install & review on. 🤔 Lol

But I've just been doing my own research & found the perfect one for my liking, but with my rear hatch window being at 5% I still need my rear view mirror dash cam because the RV set up that I found their screen is just to big & blocks my view if I place it on my dashboard. Although I think I just thought of the perfect spot, maybe. Well I keep a look out for when you put out your video on it.

Hopefully they can start selling soon on Amazon, which does accept refunds for almost any reason which is convenient in my opinion because I know sometimes people do change their minds as far as a purchase goes..

This is the best 4-channel cam for stealth and cars. i can't find one like this at amazon only huge cameras and brackets for RV's and trucks. is this the best you've tested for cars? too bad they don't sell this brand and model at amazon.

Did I read somewhere that this camera provides parking security could you tell me how that works and how much video it records cuz I'm having people screw around with my vehicle at night and I want to record who's doing the screwing around would this be a good fit for me? Thank you

One downside of these mirrors are that they are trying too much on a small 10-12 inch screen. Its main function should be rear view mirror. You start adding features to see everything but the rearview and you are confusing the driver at a moment when they need to avoid an accident. These features should be added to your infotainment unit instead. I see other types with Android OS and they added Navigation and other Android applications and functions thật belong on a on infotainment unit
Hi m8s m8s! Yeah I seen some that have a ton of information on the screen and some that have only the essentials. I have more mirror dash cam reviews on my channel under the playlist "Dash cams" if you like to compare them, some even let you customize the information shown on the main screen so you can have clean display (and a few support heads up mode for a super minimalist view, where only the LCD panel is off but you can still the recording indicator or speed). Well, I bought this. And now they don't accept return and refund even I did not open or install the camera. Bullshit customer service.
