this japan vlog was a bit more relaxed than my other one - you can sense the peaceful vibes of kyoto compared to tokyo haha. i had 3 days in kyoto during my trip so it was a short-lived trip, but i hope you enjoy!

It was amazing! Honestly the rural areas are so beautiful and peaceful I would consider the move 😂 but I could sense the underlying intense hustle culture in Tokyo so maybe not there haha. Thanks for the wonderful comment!

Another question 🥹 I’m debating if I should stay near Kyoto station or Gion, the main reason why I want to stay in Gion is because I’m planning to wake up as early as 3:30AM to go to Ninenzaka & Kiyomozudera lol because apparently now even at 5AM there are a lot of people 😢 so my question is the next one, if I stay near the station how did you manage to go that early to Ninenzaka if buses start running at 6AM (per google)? Are there taxis at that time?

It was just the river on the way to the monkey park! Don’t know what it’s called…but you’ll pass by it no matter what if you’re getting to the park :)

Thanks! I didn't have enough time to hike more intensively, but you could climb to the very top of Fushimi-Inari (which I didn't do) or I heard that the Kurama to Kibune hike is fantastic (2-3 hours with great views)
