Very nice footage, nice text, not noisy music, but probably dangerous place over there. Love it, don't stop providing video like this. I use movies creator program to make lenses correction, it definitely works

Thank you for your great comments and tips - much appreciated! Feedback like this is extremely helpful and motivational.
Next film will be UK based, farm strip flying the Aviat Husky.

Just the video I have been looking for. I have been in talks with TacAero recently about scheduling for their tailwheel and backcountry courses. I hope to be in Fredericksburg flying with them in the spring.

Love this style of video and hearing more about each landing & the intention behind them. Great story and amazing flying! Hope to see more like this

You could have come to me here with your husky in the west of Ireland 😅

      Thanks for reaching out.
I wouldn't mind giving Ireland ago...
Please take a look at my Instagram feed @HinterlandPilot as it's a good overview of some of my farm strip flying around the UK.

Fantastic trip. I had so much fun and I'd really like to return to the USA for more backcountry flying / training.

Great photography ,looks like you boys are having fun, my question why does your plane have no jerry struts ?

Thanks for your kind words about the film - much appreciated and yes, we had fun!
The plane has jury struts and the 360 camera is mounted on one of them. The 360 camera stitching point is where the jury struts are located and it has cut the struts out of the film.
      Best.

@@HinterlandPilot Thanks for the reply and spell check , I was going to send your video off to a fellow pilot for him to assess the jury strut , you saved me the embarrassment as I am very old school.... I live in northern Canada and enjoy the same type of fun , never thought of a camera as it may shorten my leash.....

Looks fun. Do you need a Piggyback FAA license to get formal tuition?

    • @HinterlandPilot

It was brilliant fun - well worth the journey.
I didn't need an FAA licence as I was under instruction all of the time. However, I did have to notify Homeland Security and get a FTSP (Flight Training Security Programme) clearance from the TSA (Transport Security Administration) to allow me to take the course / have instruction. All very straightforward stuff...
If you need anymore information please ask or contact TacAero. Best.

      Nice, what’s the course cost?

    • @HinterlandPilot
      @HinterlandPilot  11 วันที่ผ่านมา

@@tonystewart7287 It was a chunky £ cost as I flew for 17 hours (with an instructor) and had 8 hours of ground school. Along with this my flights from the UK and accommodation.
As the courses are tailored to the pilots experience it would be best for you to email TacoAero (training@tacaero.com), they could quote you the up to date fees and plane hire etc.
Overall the experience was well worth it. The trip, course and instruction is something I could not have achieved here in the UK as we don't have te access to a backcountry environment nor the scale of land the USA can offer.
