Bro it’s been like that for years. Currently 5 grams of crack cocaine will get you 5-year mandatory minimum. Now 500 grams(1 pound) of powder cocaine will get you the same 5 year mandatory minimum. I was the victim of attempted homicide in the first degree. I'm disabled too. Some meth head beat me unconscious with a metal baseball bat, in front of my teenage daughter. The guy was caught with drugs, out on bond and also on probation! He sits two years while the DA and various lawyers keep getting continued. Finally almost two years later, the DA uses him as a snitch so he only gets 3 years extra probation. I will have PTSD for the rest of my life.
I also had a severe concussion, broken eye socket, sprained ankle and various bruises and defensive injuries all over my body.

Because he didn't "admit" to anything. He said he was being *charged* with that crime and that he was found not guilty, case dismissed. Obviously there was not enough evidence to convict him so it's likely he was actually innocent.

unfortunately the reason he's so good is because in a court of law it doesn't just work that way. a judge can't throw the book based on they don't like the lawyer. because the lawyer will know that and poke holes all over the place and get a dismissed case and a lawsuit. judges have to uphold the law and if a defense lawyer is good enough you can't do anything about it unless your prosecutors are better

I was molested at 14, by an uncle , not blood related. He would invite us over to drink & smoke weed.

@@josephcummings4205i'm so sorry man, nobody deserves to go through that shit. i was sexually assaulted by my ex boyfriend at 14 but i didn't want to believe it so i labeled it as a "misunderstanding" while all my friends told me that it wasn't (i didn't believe them at the time). i sought out therapy and was told that i was actually assaulted since i was asleep and didn't consent. there are always places and people you can resort to and get help with that type of stuff (drugs, alcohol, assault, etc). my aunt is a bad drug addict and i haven't seen her in years because drugs took over her life and is now living on the streets; but on the other hand, my dad is a recovering alcoholic after seeking therapy and getting the help he needs. i believe if you really try enough to recover, you will. all you gotta do is just believe. stay positive and stay strong, you got this ❤

Well his case was dismissed and all you've seen is a two-second clip of him saying that he was charged. What makes you think he's guilty of raping a child? And regardless of what the client is alleged to have done, there is nothing wrong with an attorney protecting said client. The right to a rigorous legal defense is what keeps *everyone* (even you and me) safe from wrongful conviction. If any one person doesn't have that right, then no one does.
