I think Purrely is similar to how branded was. If people are preparing for it then it has a tough time. Pak losing a game last YCS cause someone hard drew harold is crazy.
God i love vanquisher soul so much the flavour and card design is spot on for fighting games all the member's of the archetype are diverse looking as well further adding to fighting game roster feel.
Honestly. Give them an archetypal searcher, even in trap form, and it'll make the deck MUCH more fluid. It just needs more ways to get rolling. The engine itself is really nice.
Konami printing Rock as an Ulti when all the other good cards in the deck have a CR or QCR print all but confirms it for me that they will add more support in the future. Plus Razen’s text reading “add 1 non-Warrior VS monster” rather than just saying Razen himself makes me think we might get another Warrior monster 👀

Well, what will make it wild is if the support makes VS even better and makes at least Centurion more than just calamity lock. Might warp the meta for ocg with just those two alone.
Doubt so, as they try to represent different different fighting game archetypes getting another warrior would be weird (cuz they probably won't do "rival/clone" like Ryu-Ken as we have an analogue to Ragna-Jin from blazblue) but we do have other very common archetypes like "puppet" , "stance" and "copycats". And I would argue mad love is not a zoner and she's a setplay character so we may have something like a gunslinger instead as it would make sense cuz the third most important character on blazblue uses guns.
It's such a cool deck, the only thing I don't like it's that it is basically a tcbo1 turbo deck. But it has such cool artworks and cool strategies (tcbo1 aside)
Vanquish Soul needs a better Level 4 EARTH and/or better DARK/EARTH handtraps more than another solid search target for Mad Love. Shifter, Bystials, and D.D. Crow are all conditional based on the format, and all of them have their downsides, and the same goes for Ghost Belle. Alternatively, give the deck another Razen or a way to search it.
I pull like 5 cards of vs in my wisu box and some of the best one including collector rare and then in age I pull their new monster is like what happen to me with salamangreat years ago were I pull the cards for the core as if the product was calling to me to play the deck.

My testing partner plays VS and man I’m such a believer in that deck the plays it can make if you play it smart is so good
i need to get more familiar with VS. the mechanic is so dope but hard for me to grasp the lines sometimes.
