Hi and great video... just wanted to let you know that Pin 13 comes designed for an LED output and already resistor balasted, therefore you can connect any led to that Pin and the adjacent GND Pin without burning it and making your tutorial shorter and cleaner that way too. That sounds interesting. So, since I have no resistor of that type(shown on the video), can I draw a cable from the ground and connect it to the negative of the LED?

I have to ASUS phone but can't use arduino with phone
how do i hard wire arduino to cellphone say i have a spare cell laying around and i want to connect cell to arduino and package it together for say a drone or a bot and just use the phones wifi or bluetooth to connect to the remote phone to control wirelessly

I need a little help with my final year project.

1-how can I communicate an android phone through a Bluetooth? what modules I need for calculating the Voltage ,current and battery percentage .

It's not that you need any "crazy skillz", but it definitely helps if you have some programming experience. But even if you don't have any, you'll get it on the way by studying the simple examples that come with Arduino's IDE, reading guides, etc.
Also it's good to have some basic knowledge of electronics & components.
& last but not least, you need *common sense*! ;)

It may seem basic, but the possibilities are endless! By learning & combining little "basic" things, you can build pretty much anything you can imagine!
For example, I started playing with an Uno about 6 years ago, just because I wanted to build a simple weather station which I could monitor through LAN & Internet. Today this same Uno is connected (via I²C) to 3 Mega, an Ethernet shield, a GSM shield, 2 RFID shields, various RF transceivers, some IR receivers, lots of sensors, PIRs, etc etc. They constitute my home's automation & security system.
So, you start small, you add stuff, you learn from your mistakes (yes, you will make mistakes, it's part of the learning process & it happens to *anyone* ;) & you don't let those mistakes & the difficulties you may encounter to discourage you.

Start off with an Arduino UNO, they're are cheap and often come with a bootloader which should save you some trouble, they also have all the pins you'll need. Then download and install Arduino IDE from their official website which is the regular software used to program an Arduino. Look at some Arduino projects like in this video and off you go.

better you always use a resistor ,even though it works without a resistor.But use a resistor of small value like 220 ohms.Its a precaution
