In layman’s terms, the first few volumes go Vroom Vroom and we’re all like wow thats pretty good. But then it starts going Vroooooooom, then VROOOOOM and then your socks go bye bye. It’s always great to feel immersed in a story, to the point where the technicalities I’m so used to analysing takes a backseat. I imagine the amount of fine tuning put into this series is insane. The well balanced POV changes, the pacing, and colourful prose are great. Being so sucked into a volume that I forget to appreciate these things made them even more fun to reread, especially now with hindsight.
If the anime is getting 25 episodes, this is the perfect point to end the first season. It ends with seemingly dropping the last big misteries about our main character with a huge WTF-moment.
@@NorthernSoulReaper I'm using the Shield hero anime as a basis for my speculations :) Also, the shield hero previews and opening showed only to the halfway-point of the season so if we apply that to spider there would be quite a bit more after the Alaba-fight.
As someone who has said the Web Novel I can tell you the story is well written with it's twists and turns, and actually has good explanations for things. Hoping for a review of the other two volume soon.

I am curious how they’ll tackle the anime, this would be a great point to have a cliff hanger but I’m not sure if they can get there in 25 eps...

Lol 6 is a slow down but 7 is all action. And all of these books are awesome. Especially 1 to 5.
