    Listening to him was like listening to myself a few years ago. I’ve been sober for 3 1/2 years now and love life and no longer think I’m a piece shit. I have a wife and a house now. Life is great when you’re sober.

    Congratulations on 30 days. I hope you continue your learning experience. It’s awesome to hear the hope and the inspiration. It’s awesome to hear the good things you have done and you have to say about yourself and your goals. I did a 6 week rehab course with a gentleman who had spent time in jail then went to detox then rehab then outpatient course. He had a young family. He is clean still and back to working in construction work or building trade as he calls it. 28 months and he has been able to provide a unit for his family and take em on a holiday. His kids see him as dad and his wife is super proud and loves the fact they have a normal happy family unit. It can be done ✅

    I am so fucking Proud of you. You fuckin OWN who you are and who you were and that is exactly how you're able to properly become who you really are day by day. I'm so happy for you. I wish my loved ones could do the same thing.. be as strong as you are thru this transformation thru life. You got this. I don't doubt at all that you will be so incredibly proud of yourself (you should be already!) by continuing to do your best. Excellent work.

    _WOW! YOU ARE AMAZING! I am also recovering. My H. P., Kratom & the 12-steps made it all possible. Kratom, especially, helped with the overall aches and pains. There is absolutely NO high with Kratom. (Hopefully, you may be past those days though.) I just made my 1-yr clean time. Keep it up, one day at a time._

    • @aidankhaos7687
      @aidankhaos7687 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      There is totally a high with Kratom. You just haven't experienced it. It's very addictive and the withdrawals are almost worse than pills.

    • @TheMightyDR84
      @TheMightyDR84 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @mike andrews shes clean if she wants to say she is. What you say is only an opinion.

    • @markjohnson9976
      @markjohnson9976 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      mike andrews imo Kratom withdraws are basically nothing and if you cry over them you’re kind of a pussy. So much better than being on opiates or suboxone or methadone. Kratom helps a lot of people and if I want to take it for the rest of my life I will because it’s really not that bad and the positive things I get from it outweigh the downsides which includes maybe feeling a little shitty for like 2 days. Kratom is awesome.

    • @Demigod8ether
      @Demigod8ether 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      mike andrews Who are you to tell this woman she isn’t clean?? If Kratom is what she used to help with her with withdrawing from opiates and she is no longer using her DOC ( drug of choice )then that is all that matters. No one gets told this when they use vivitrol, methadone, or suboxone. The road to recovery and sobriety is different for each individual. There is no one one fits all plan. My wish is for people to maintain sobriety for themselves whatever that may look like for them.

    Fair play to you mate.i hope to god you stay clean and if you can help another addict like yourself put them on the right track,it will help you also to have more self worth and belief.remember in the future the chances are you will get urges to use again.treat those urges like waves,they will start off small and no doubt will get bigger and stronger but then if you can just stick it out by anyway means,the urge to use just like a wave will eventually get smaller and smaller until its no more.plse stick with it as you know the gear just dont do it for you anymore and if u went back to using,you mite not get another chance again

    With the rate at which drug victims are getting rehabilitated in this era, and the rate at which they share their experiences about the cause, consequences and their survival point. It will go a long way in helping more individuals in that shoe to get out of the situation and keep those yet to go into it out.. This is really the survival of the fittest

    Life is too short to do the things we are not suppose to do. But hey, good news, everyday is another chance and opportunity to change. It will be hard at first, but when you get there, you will realize how worthy it is. Stay strong! Godbless!

    What an experience, how can one wish to die? He would have gotten to an extent in which he felt it wasn't worth living. I am happy he was told otherwise and given the necessary encouragement he deserved to make a change. I am proud of the determination he has, God help you to remain clean.

      johnshocks I feel like it could be blaming but I also see it as him trying to emphasis all of the things that he lost due to drugs. We shouldn’t be criticizing people that are brave enough to share their story on the internet for thousands of people to see. These people are the reason why there is hope for others.

      I’m all with the positivity but there are reasons you don’t let someone speak about their sobriety until they are about a year sober or “tell their story”. It kinda gives people false hope. You need have stability with in yourself in order for you to be an inspiration for other people. With that being said I hope his progress is going well and I hope everything is working out for him.
