    Halfway in and I have to say I feel I am listening to the most sane man I have ever heard. Would that this could somehow be beemed to every one of the 7 billion on this planet - especially the so-called leaders. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Rick and Jurgen.

      I couldn't connect to this interview at all. I think that most people are better served reading a good fiction, watching a good movie or just sleeping and having a nice dream.
      IOW... ...I think this interview is confusing and misleading and it is more likely to lead away from the TRUTH - PRESENT - HERE - and - NOW than to point towards it.

      Its fascinating isnt it. Dont think you could meet someone who is less interested in making any of this stuff up (or just believing for that matter)...

    • @waterkingdavid
      @waterkingdavid 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Right Billy. Its rare to encounter someone who really doesn't have an agenda. What I find mindboggling is how people aren't more interested in this stuff. Its like we've been programmed to be blase about absolutely everything. In the first half of the last century it seems there was a lot of interest in all kinds of things from existentialism to Madame Blavatsky to quantum physics etc. etc. But now its like "Oh that's interesting but what's next on the entertainment channel?".
      Life really is utterly amazing if we have an attitude of curiosity instead of a kind of fundamentalism which if one thinks about it isn't just of the religious kind but it pervades everything.
      What concerns me about this channel is the number of "nondual" fundamentalists that seem to frequent these pages. They seem to have switched off curiosity in favour of some kind of idea that "we've got it and you haven't" which is fundamentalism through to the core.
      I believe there really is something which is freedom. But to realize it isn't something you've either got or havent got as is the fundamentalist position whether Chrisitian, Muslim, nondual or whatever. It' comes as a result of investigating everything through to the core which is what our friend Jurgen here is doing.
      Bob Dylan's warned against such fundamentalists:
      "From the fools gold mouthpiece
      The hollow horn plays wasted words
      Proved to warn
      That he's not busy being born
      But Is busy dying."
      I feel so incredibly fortunate to know that is really is worthwhile to live each moment to the full as Jurgen suggests. But I guess those who think otherwise will somehow eventually realize that being close minded is just damn boring and they will get bored by their boredom and start looking again!
      Take care!

      To focus exclusively on the wave (body) is to overlook the ocean (the Ultimate Reality) whose movement the wave is. To look deeply into the wave is to see the Ocean - the only Reality there is. Once the ocean is "discovered" the waves are seen to be nothing more than the movement of the ocean. The ocean alone is the Reality.

    • @TransferOfAwakening

      The Ultimate Reality Alone is Sri Donald Trump. The Ultimate Reality Alone is Smt. Hillary Clinton. The Ultimate Reality Alone is Sri Barak Obama. The Ultimate Reality alone is you, me, the open minded and the Fundamentalist. To see it this way... is to see the ocean behind the waves.

    Thank you for this interview Rick and Jürgen.
    Rick, it seems to me that you are not comfortable promoting yourself and asking for recognition of your effort in form of donations.
    I will not donate based on how you ended this episode. Your reaction left me with a sense of "donation=discomfort".
    I am no regular listener/watcher of your work, but over the years, I have watched couple of your videos and they always contained useful information - they were a very valuable present from you to the world and to me.
    I want to thank you from my hearth for these presents you are giving to people and to the world.
    You deserve recognition for the value you bring to this world. Donations/money are just that and I wish you would see/feel it in yourself.
    I will be watching your work more closely from now and hopefully I will soon feel comfortable donating for a worthy/building/connecting/entropy-lowering/loving cause.

    Self-Realization is only the beginning. There are other realizations beyond that [as mentioned by the famous Yogi, Sri Aurobindo].
    This world is not an 'illusion' that we're suppose to escape from through 'Nirvana' or whatever, it's a manifestion of the Divine in Evolution. Humanity has not reached the end-stage of it's evolutionary process yet. The only 'illusion' is in the way we perceive the world, as Jurgen's first experience clearly indicates.

    Fascinating journey ... as to the question of such experiential pursuits, OBEs, etc, being mere irrelevant distractions, and thus not integral to Realization, it strikes me to wonder who would claim to know what is integral or not integral to any given unique journey? It seems that could only be a limited egoic evaluation. One must do what one is compelled to do, and that whatever form that may take is one's own unique destiny, no one aspect of it being less integral than any other. So be it ...carry on. :)

    Thanks for the video Rick. There is a lot of very good information here. I have a question for you or for anyone reading this comment. At 3 minutes and 28 seconds you ask Jurgen if he knew why he was feeling aggressive and frustrated after his long period of intense meditation. I took it that you were asking Jurgen if he knew why people in general feel this way after long periods of intense meditation. After spending long periods of time in long meditations, I have felt much the way Jurgen had described himself feeling and I often wondered if there was a general explanation for feeling this way. Was I correct in assuming that you were asking if he knew in a general sense what was going on and if so, can you or anyone else share that explanation with me? Thanks again for the video.

    • @clenham
      @clenham 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Narayana Commerford, Thank you so much for responding to my question. Your explanation makes perfect sense to me. I am looking forward to making the adjustments you mentioned to my meditation practice. Also, thank you for the website and forum. I am looking forward the exploring them as well.

    I've had the same experiences that Jurgen has, i.e., not only an OBE, but out of that body and then out of that body and then..etc etc. I have seen the same Chinese Master that he speaks of and so have members of my family. Breaking the ceiling that he spoke about has to do with using a different mantra that comes from a plane which is higher than the one that you're stuck on.
    All religions are here for our personal experience in realities and spiritual growth. Each one is based on the pyramid and at the base of each are the fundamentalists. At the top are the ones who have touched the heavens high above the clouds. When they arrive and look out at the other mountain peaks of each different religion, they wave to each other.
    Jurgen touched on the Inner Guide and said that it is actually himself, but it is actually a part of God that connects each Soul with the Source, or God.
    Some meditation techniques are more conducive to OBE. Try this one. It is the fastest technique but it won't let you get unbalanced.
    Good luck.

    Nice "special effects" in his art. Though i liked his story for a while, his claims become more & more......"Fantasy movie" like. I do not know if what jurgen experiences is "Real" .maybe he sees it as real. But i doubt if i should go to Venus , I will be able to find the the same "civilizations" . Maybe the visualization part of his brain is highly evolved?
    Would be pretty cool to be able to go one all these "trips". Who needs 3D Hollywood movies, if you can do it in your head....
    P.S: How many books has this man written? He names one every 10 minutes.

      His descriptions have much in common others who have gone down the same path. Maybe you could try it for yourself... see how real you find it. I think that's the only way to know, otherwise all you have is other peoples claims and experiences.

    Embodiment - Being full embodied will lead you to becoming fully dissociative. Fully experiencing the body will reveal to you - the true experience - it is only an experience. You are nothingness. Body is just an experience as is everything else.

    Krishna Consciousness - This how I view the Krishna Consciousness:
    See Me (the Ultimate Reality) in you.
    See Me (the Ultimate Reality) in others.
    See Me (the Ultimate Reality) in the relationships.
    See Me (the Ultimate Reality) in the Play.
    See Me (the Ultimate Reality) in everything.
    ...to see it this way is to have the Krishna Vision.
    I (the Ultimate Reality) alone exist!

      You love yourself - that Love goes to Krishna (the Ultimate Reality).

      You are angry at yourself - that anger goes to Krishna (the Ultimate Reality).
      You approve of yourself - that approval goes to Krishna (the Ultimate Reality).
      It is same when you do it to others.
      What you do to yourself, them and them, to this and to that… ...it all goes to Me (Krishna) (the Ultimate Reality).
      I Alone Exist!

    great interview i had an experience once where I was out of my body with some other beings and I look over and they are wearing silver suits (just like the sci-fi movies!) and I'm saying it's hot and they say why don't you put on a suit so I did and I felt better. I was always amazed that I would feel anything when outside of my body. i was out with the same bro's and I see this big bug he's about 5 ' tall and I"m looking at him then I feel someone pushing me toward him and bam the next thing I know I look up and I see some small creatures and I look beside me and I see metal straps and I realize I'm in a cage with them!!! My heart is racing because I realize this thing wants to eat me! The next thing I know I'm back where I started and I see a door and I walk through it and no bug but there is a door to the left and there he is! The next thing I know I'm back in my body and I put my pillow over my head and I said I hope that thing doesn't follow me home! I think my buddies were having a good laugh at my expense! I've always wondered what other beings live on planet earth in the higher dimensions They can have everything we got going on in 3D in 5D but I never heard anyone say anything about that.. And dogs can travel with you too!

    Advaita :- I view Advaita (translated as nonduality) as a theory, belief to be studied, learned, contemplated, experimented, investigated and finally understood.
    Roughly, Advaita means that the Ultimate Reality, the one which is beyond all forms, attributes, shape, size, space and time is everything that changes and has forms and attributes. It is the Ultimate experiencer of all things yet, it is one beyond all experiences.
    The eternal is the only real truth behind all that comes and goes. The eternal, the changeless, the attribute-less becomes all that changes, has attributes, takes birth and dies... yet, it remains same... untouched, untinged, unchanged.

  • @TransferOfAwakening
    @TransferOfAwakening 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    According to Advaita that I have read and understood: There is no difference between the Ultimate Reality and I. The Ultimate Reality is Me. I AM the Ultimate Reality.
    Whatever is the expression of the Ultimate Reality is the expression of myself.
    If “the sense of being a separate self” is an expression of the Ultimate Reality, then it is my expression.
    If the Ultimate Reality created “the sense of separate self” then I created it.
    If I think that it is a mistake (mistake because it causes unnecessary pain and suffering) to believe in being a separate self then it is the Ultimate Reality that that thinks it is Mistake.
    If I make a mistake and learn and then make another mistake and then learn… then, it is the Ultimate Reality that makes mistakes and learns.
    There is no difference between the Ultimate Reality and I.
    The Ultimate Reality is Me.
    I AM the Ultimate Reality.

    • @TransferOfAwakening
      @TransferOfAwakening 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      In my view: The Ultimate Reality learns. It evolves. It looks for new games to play. Its play become increasingly more sophisticated, complex and evolved.
      It fails. It wins. It makes mistakes. It learns. It cries. I laughs. It becomes happy. It becomes sad. Yet... ...ultimately IT remains SAME. Those humans are able to see that same ONE, the Changeless ONE - are called the Awakened Ones. Those humans abide as that Unchanging SAME one - the ONE which remains SAME while the things change on the surface - are called Buddha (s).

    • @TransferOfAwakening
      @TransferOfAwakening 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Think of an ocean - with billions (ok, almost countless) water drops. Think of a Reality which can reproduce and create billions (ok, almost countless) copies of itself.
      Think of a cell that can divide and create another similar to itself. Think of the entire body having grown like this from a single cell to now contain billions of them.
      Think of body which has billions of cell - each, somewhat independent and autonomous and somewhat separate yet sustained by the same body energy and ultimately not really separate or independent.
      This is how I think of “you” and “I” and “others” - this human body, that human body - and - the “reality” - somewhat separate, independent and autonomous - yet, ultimately not really separate or independent.

    • @TransferOfAwakening

      There is no "real" you or "I".
      There is electricity flowing through millions of computers. Electricity simply powers it and it bring what is already stored inside the computer to life. Based on what is stored (Operating system, application, memory) inside the computer , the computer behaves differently. Computer IP or hostname is similar to the name given to a human body. It helps in communication, connection and relationships between computers.
      There is energy flowing through billions of cells in the human body. Energy is same but the cell behaves based on what is its nature, memory and its other physical characteristics.
      There is Consciousness flowing through billions of human bodies. The Consciousness that powers them is same but the human body behaves based on what is stored (memory, knowledge, habits, skills) inside the body and its physical characteristic (health, fitness, strength, intelligence, abilities, talents).
      You can change a computer by installing memory, changing hard disk or by installing new software. The computer will behave differently after that but the electricity that powers it remains same.
      You can change a body by changing memory, building muscles or by building new habits or by acquiring new skills. The human body will behave differently after that but the electricity that powers it remains same.

    • @TransferOfAwakening
      @TransferOfAwakening 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just with little drugs, just with little change in chemicals, just with little change in brain's physiology, people's thinking changes, people sense of identity changes, people's sense of reality changes. What doesn't change is the base I AM. Consciousness.
      A lot of body is already replaceable. If the memory, knowledge, habits are replaced, if the face is replaced, if the body itself is replaced - who Am I? I am Consciousness. Even now, I am Consciousness. Even in the Deep Dreamless Sleep, without an sense of body - I AM.

    • @TransferOfAwakening
      @TransferOfAwakening 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      In my view: Ultimately, there is no “real” human being.
      “Human being” is just a concept. It is something that “really” only exists in the language. It is a social and language construct. In language, it is primarily used for communication. In society, it is primarily used for relationships, ownership and for responsibility and retribution.
      The “human being” is a concept just like “car” is. Ultimately, car is just a collection of parts and some software and some fuel. Ultimately, even parts are just concepts. Ultimately parts are…
      There is a human body. Ultimately, even a “human body” is just a concept - there are only cells. Ultimately, even cells are…
      The human body is like a computer - consisting of replaceable, changeable, renewable parts. Consciousness (as the word is commonly used) is like the Operating System that runs the machine once the computer has electricity, power, energy.
      The base Consciousness (the ability to BE) (the ability to KNOW) (the ability to experience) (I AM) is like the electricity. I AM Pure. I AM untainted. I power it all yet, I am untouched.
      “A person”, “a human being”, an “ego” is like an IP address, a hostname - a socially and linguistically agreed concept that helps computers (persons) talk to each other and relate to each other.

    great interview . Jurgen claims that when we die we don't go straight to heaven or hell and our stored energy essentially has to be burned off first. I resonate with him on that, but He stated that people who have had near death experiences come back and say all was forgiven and they went straight into heaven. This is not the case and is a misrepresentation of what the vast majority are saying. The majority of nde reports have a life review where they do have to feel all of the good and bad things they have done in the physical life. they experience it from all perspectives. according to most nder's you aren't getting away with anything and this process can be very painful.

    Nonduality - The creator and created aren’t really two. The created is not really separate from or independent of the creator. The creator is like the ocean. The created is like the wave. The ocean alone is real. The waves have no independent existence. The waves are never really separate or disconnected from the ocean. The waves rise. The waves fall. The ocean alone is!
    The creator is like the dreamer. The creation is like a dream. The created is like a dream character. The dreamer alone is real. The dreamer alone is all dream characters.

    Rick,
    How is it that when i reply on the thread where you and Jurgen are debating with "PlanetEarth Trimtab" that my comments don't show up? I have noticed that if i post on that thread that some time later the comment i posted no longer shows. Am i being censored?
    --
    Here's my last comment on the thread in question....
    _+Rick Archer +Jurgen Ziewe +PlanetoftheApeTab,_
    _Actually the belief that brain is producing consciousness is complete bollocks, since there is absolutely no scientific basis to it..._
    _1) no mechanism to describe how the brain produces consciousness (or not even a theoretical one!)._
    _2) no testable predictions (i.e., IF "x" is present, then consciousness will emerge)._
    _3) no empirical data to demonstrate consciousness extruding from the brain._
    _4) no accommodation for the repeated observation that consciousness can modulate gene expression, biology, and brain function (e.g., scientificamerican dot com/article/changing-our-dna-through-mind-control)_
    _5) no accountability for the fact that consciousness has no physical features - no mass, no charge, no shape, etc despite it being evidently apparent in your own subjective experience._
    _6) no biological/physical definition of consciousness to predicate it as a physical phenomenon_
    _And if anyone wants to claim that consciousness is just an illusion (such as Dennett), then they should stop trying to act like their beliefs, claims and theories about it are exception._
    _Furthermore, research is continuing into consciousness and its relation to brain because many scientists have realized that consciousness is distinct from brain, and that the dominant theory fails to explain it._

    Any idea what's going on?

      This one showed up. I find the TH-cam comment system rather klunky. I get emails when people post comments. Sometimes I search for the comment here, but can't find it, even when I click "View all X replies" and the "Show more" link at the bottom. Other times TH-cam marks comments as potential spam, and I have to approve them. I'd rather they just posted everything and let me delete the spam, but I haven't found a way to accomplish that. In any case, I'm certainly not censoring you.
