I was inducted into this identity construct for a sense of belonging and acceptance, and have since left this community, and i now live a solitary, solo lifestyle with the same identity as a queer man. The negative energy did leave me of sexual promiscuity, self-hatred, and addictions, but I still am attracted to the same sex and I love myself. DL was created by a sub-category of men who live in secret shame. They are not a part of the LGBTQ community people. Stop grouping them with us. Black consciousness cannot catch up to epigenetics because we don't allow the energy of forced sodomy on our ancestors during slavery to heal in our men, because we are so scared of our men showing signs of sensitivity. I’ve seen 3 gay babies in my life. They were younger than 1 years old when I met them. They are in their late 20s now and all 3 are openly gay. I think they came here with a gay spirit on them. I was young then and didn’t understand or have the courage to tell the mother to rebuke that spirit of their baby.
