You don't need to buy again to get the weapon. When you hand the LP to Rodin, you automatically get it. Those in the shop are extra pairs, for you to use them on both hands and feet. In short, you get 1 from the LP, and the extra one by using halos.
Yes a lot of players do not realize they already got the weapon and keep using guns fir like half of the game

Yes and if there isnt an alt in the shop then that means the weapon cant be equipped to your legs
Three very big tips.
1. Should you Have to dodge during a combo, holding down the button you're pressing while you dodge will let you contiune the combo. This is called Dodge Offset...I think.
2. If you can help it, make sure you use your Umbran climax after getting a witch time to garnetee a full combo
3. Lots of enemies will stay out of range for punches and kicks like that boss at the end of chapter 1. Remember you got guns when holding X and A
Also swords good, bow bad.

oh come on ! The bow has a lot of pratical uses and it's simple to play with. Now Rakshasa is a very good weapon that's true but Kafka ain't that bad.

Well theres a muselpheim challenge or two where bows work well..atleast for me.
The weapons auto unlock after giving Rodin the LP. The alt versions in the shop are only if you want to equip to your shoe-holders too. So we had the weapons the whole time.
Close. It’s for using it on both arms and legs simultaneously.
Don't forget, you can use all the items you like in this game without any penalties. So heal, strength buff and invincibility-pop like there's no tomorrow.
Also you seem to forget but every weapon you unlock you immediately own. The weapons in Rodin's shop are simply duplicates so that you can wield them on you hands/arms AND feet/legs.

one kinda weird and contraintuitive recomendation is to check megaman zero if you ask for another dmc, but if you want to stay 3d you voul look to spark the electric jester 3 also
Oh and a little fun fact, the demoness you summoned when fighting Valiance is actually Madama Butterfly. She's the giant fists and kicks that appears when you use wicked weaves/umbran climax :D! She didn't appear in Bayonetta 1 as an actual summon, so seeing her in Bayonetta 2 is pretty cool
Another Fun Fact:
Valiance, the 'sword face' angel from Chapter 1 was originally intended to appear in Bayonetta 1, but he had to be cut out of the game due to the limitations they had during development. His concept art even appears in the artbook of the first game

The Bayonetta has a special place in my heart due to how unique it is. Both Bayonetta and the game developers are unafraid to show what they've got and that they've got the skills to pay the bills. Everything about the game is phenomenal. The graphics, the character designs, the fighting, the story, the everything. I love all of the lore sprinkled into the game and how they perfectly tie into gameplay mechanics. Bayonetta herself is one of my favorite protagonists of all time. She has such a distinct and attractive personality that you can't help but to be drawn in my it alone. I could play this game for hours on end, and I still wouldn't get bored. It is so addictive and satisfying. It's one of the best games I have ever played and easily deserves all of the praise it gets.
I'm really excited for Bayonetta 3 cause of the whole vibe you get from the series. It doesn't take itself so serious and slapstick enough to put a smile on your face. Regarding the Rakshasa and Kafka, weapons in your inventory. You just forgot to equip them. The alt version you're seeing in the gates of hell is another set you can put on your feet if you wanted to mix up your weapons

2 tips for ya.
1) When find a gold LP and give it to Rodin, you automatically have the weapon in your inventory. The weapons you see in the shop only allow you to equip that weapon on both your hands and feet, where as you could only do one or the other normally.
2) You can craft your own items. The little green/red/yellow balls you find are resources. If you go to your inventory menu and select the recipe book, it will show you what you need to make the items. Using this instead of buying them from the shop will save you a bunch of halos.
I'm so frustrated that he rushing so much for content,don't even care explore the item and mechanic.
I´m so exited for Bayo 3, I remember I fell in love with Bayo 1, and when they announced my favorite company rescued the game and a sequel was coming, I was officially a fan. I voted for her coming to Smash. The gameplay of the 3rd game seems so much better, I cant believe they found a way to improve it
Bayonetta gives me so much joy and as sad as I am to hear that Hellena Taylor isn't voicing Bayonetta in the third game due to overlapping circumstances in a recent interview, I am WAY EXCITED to find out that the new voice is Jennifer Hale - Commander Shepard herself! I'm seriously going to miss Taylor's performance but I am also just looking forward to Hale's and Bayonetta 3 should just release already!
They could always bring Ms. Taylor back and re-record the dialogue later if Hale's voice acting doesn't turn out that great. From the trailer, I found her accent to be inconsistent.
TBH, a lot of 3 has me worried. Kamiya isnt in charge, and the game looks so dull. Like, theres almost no color, everything is washed out. Ive also heard that the new kaiju thing replaces your legs' weapon customization?

At the end of trailer 2 we can definitely hear Hellena's voice as Cereza rips her heart off and summons a kaiju. I believe the "overlapping circumstances" refer to overlapping Bayonettas from different worlds. My only doubt is that in Japanese they kept the same voice actress, so I don't know

I'm excited for Bayo 3 because the series doesn't shy away and embraces the whole concept of character action without shame or abandon. It's a very special series to me, very dear and close to my heart.
I am excited for the story of Bayonetta 3. The gameplay changes look like fun as well. The fashion is also on point from what I have seen!
Dee, you already have the weapons after you give LPs to Rodin, they are in your inventory that u can access during chapters. Gates of Hell sells leg versions of them
Man, the story on these games is kinda confusing, but once you get it, you GET it. It's awesome. Can't wait to see what the lore of the third game will be, what with the new characters and game mechanics.
It's crazy how well Bayo 1 and 2 mix. I know the story by heart at this point
You could literally use a Rakshasa. After you bring the record, you get weapons for free! And then you buy a full set.
That concept art book in the Trinity Masquerade edition looks SO good. I love concept art in general, but I would LOVE to see the design process behind the angels! They have such good designs that manage to be unique even in the “weird angels” space, mostly because they’re not overtly creepy (until you knock the armor off, anyway…), and the boss angels so far have been even crazier and evocative in 2 than in the original! Which is an accomplishment, because Jubileus is one hell of a design (heh.)

Replaying Bayonetta 2 just reminded me of how god damn much I love this game.
Before your playthrough, I only got Silvers and maybe the occassional Gold on Normal Mode. I decided to try out hard, and now I'm consistently getting Golds and even a Platinum on Hard! Watching you play reminded me of certain techniques and it's made the game so much more fun. Literally can't wait for Bayonetta 3 and see how the gameplay is, but the story is what I'm really interested in right now! Almost definitely going to use Love is Blue and Bayonetta 2 outfit if they're in the game.
P.S. Umbran Spear is amazing. Never sleep on it.

I prefer having the challenge. Rosa's damage is so strong, and I like the flair of Bayonetta.
You must be the only youtuber to read the journal entries and other lore books on the platform... and I'm here for it !!! It's such a shame some people skip through them, there aren't that many of them and they aren't that long, but they add a lot of depth to the universe and lore, as well as explaining some plotpoints and even foreshadow stuff at times !
Obviously Bayonetta is an action game so they couldn't possibly add all this exposition and world-building directly in the game during cutscenes or what not because it would ruin the pace, but these books are really really cool and interesting to read. You can even read your Demon Summons' backstory in one book !
Anyway I love your videos on Bayonetta, you're giving the series the respect and appeciation it deserves, and I can't wait for Bayonetta 3 because I've been waiting so long for a sequel, so this one almost feels like a dream.

Bayonetta is hands down the best hack and slash combo game! Along with her quirky nature and sassy remarks, she's one of the best and strongest female character. Also she's not ashamed to get naked and dance around the pole to make change. Fights and behaves in a sexy way!
Honestly, for me, Bayonetta can only be described using a couple words. Bayonetta is 'fashionable', 'fabulous', 'action-packed', and even (like Rodin says) 'beautiful'. Another thing is that Bayonetta 3 really looks to be shaping up to be a main stream, top-selling game, especially with the new techniques and abilities like Demon Slave and Demon Masquerade. This game series is a hidden jem in the world of gaming, and I hope with all my heart that Bayonetta 3 can just start the series to meet its true potential! I'm hyped for Bayonetta 3 because I have been in love with this series since the first time I've played it, and I still play it to this day. Everything about the game is perfect, the visuals, the sounds and musics, the gameplay. Bayonetta will be forever one of my favorite games ever.

I'm really excited for Bayo3 because i'm just totally in love with these games from top to bottom! I played the first back when it came out on the Xbox 360 and as a big fan of the DMC series i was just really excited to see another crazy action game that felt like it had that rule of cool spirit DMC had. Bayonetta being such an iconic protagonist just made me fall in love with these games even harder. Bayonetta 3 looks like the culmination of more than a decade worthy of games by Platinum Games coming together to form the ultimate action game and i couldn't be happier about it.
Bayonetta keeps getting better with every itteration. It's the one place where Platinum can truly go ham and you can tell just how much fun the developers are having by how awesome the game becomes. I just want to see where their dreams take the next, with Bayonetta 3

For the weapons, the Alt versions essentially give you a second "copy" of the weapon allowing you to use both copies at the same time. Weapons like Kafka cannot be equipped to your feet so there is only one "copy".
I'm looking forward to Bayonetta 3 to see the new weapon choices and also classical pieces for the LPs for those weapons.
I'm so excited for Bayonetta 3. This game has become my go to, favorite character action series, and every time I play it I just find myself filled with the same level of joy I get from playing DMC5. This series is amazing, and I feel like even with VA changes in 3, 3's going to be amazing.

I’ve been a fan of Bayonetta since I was in highschool, my friends and family know how much I love the franchise, when the first reveal trailer was released for Bayonetta 3 I wouldn’t stop talking about it I screamed when the second trailer dropped. I’d be so grateful to have a collectors edition of Bayonetta as I’ve never been able to get one.

The series has such a campy aesthetic mixed with that outrageous nonstop-climax action we all know and love from similar fast-action games. I cant wait to see what they’ll serve next with 3 💖🤩💖
what you buy at rodin's shop is not the weapon, it's the double for the weapon, so that you can use it on both your arms and legs, you already have the weapons he created when you brought the disk.
the rakshasa is a double blade, and the Kafka is a Bow and arrow, so you can't buy a double of this one bc it's a bow and arrow.
That group of Angels you've never seen; they're who replaced Dear and Decorations from the first game. Keep in mind that certain Third Sphere Angels will often assist the Archangels of that rank to appear more dangerous despite being weaker than the other Spheres.
I’m just so happy that’s their putting in so much effort into her just shear extraness that we all love and amplified it to the max!!
The reason why I'm excited for Bayonetta 3 is for the simple fact that I followed the series through every platform and console that it was realized on. I have both 1 and 2 for both Playstation and Nintendo Wii U. Now that part 3 is coming out, I'm gonna try and get a switch to complete the journey.
Plus that Bayonetta Trinity Masquerade bundle is a dream come true for this game series!

Bayonetta is like a beacon of confidence that everyone needs, when I played bayonetta 1 in 2010 I was 11 and STG this game made me way too comfortable in my own skin lol it's hard to play bayonetta 1 and 2 without feeling like a total badass afterwards
I love the Bayonetta saga, I must admit that i discovered Bayonetta when I saw a gameplay of the 2nd game and when I had the oportunity to play it IT WAS AWESOME, the history, lore, gameplay, characters EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. I've always been the kind of person that gets too much in the shoes of the characters and Bayonetta's attitude and personality helped me a lot in building my confidence and self esteem. I love the games and forever will be one of my favourites :3

There's so much to be excited for about Bayo 3 that idek where to start. The Demon Slave is so insane to see, finally being able to control your demons mid-battle. The new character redesigns look abolutely fantastic. The moveset for Color My World looks so fabulous and fluid. I absolutely cannot wait to finally be able to play Bayo 3 after 5 years of waiting and waiting

idk if ur interested but, a couple tips!!
- press n hold the y button between combos to keep ur combo meter up, bigger combos gets u more halos. same goes for holding x/a after a punch/kick
- once u get an lp it unlocks the weapon for free, the version in rodin's shop is a duplicate in case u wanna put the weapon on both arms AND legs (which is still rlly fun)
Trying out and experimenting with the new weapons is one of my favorite part in these games, in my opinión the Rakshasa blades have cooler attacks when equipped on the feet
Watching bayo 2 makes me miss the bow and bird form dash attacks, I love the editing when you read the books xD

I’m really exited for Bayonetta 3 due to just-.. How long I’ve been with the game. Like I’ve been playing this series since 2010. Ive beaten both games countless times and have gone through for pure platinum runs too, the new combat systems in Bayo 3 look extremely fun and I cannot wait
I'm excited for Bayonetta 3 because it's one of the few games I've seen that doesn't pull any punches. The series has been nothing but fun and entertainment for the sake of fun and entertainment without holding anything back, and doesn't shy away from anything. Bayonetta games give you a solid gameplay experience while also delivering a solid narrative with interesting and enjoyable characters. If Bayonetta 3 is going to be anything like the last two games, it's definitely something to be excited about.
4:15 Witches can take control of vehicles and transportation! If you notice, she flew the jet after she landed on it in the prologue 😚 same with the Missile in Bayonetta 1

I think im most excited to see how much crap they give enzo the way they mess with him is both kinda sad yet hilarious.
Just a friendly reminder, the LPs in this game work the same way as they did in the original. You hand the LP to Rodin, he makes a new weapon and immediately gives it to you. The "Alt" ones are merely mass production models that have the same abilities so you can stick them on your feet as well.

I'm excited about Bayo 3 because I need to see all the things we can do in that game and lot more of the extra extra she does, like how many poses and weapons and combos she will get in there, as well as the many summons midfight!
I loove bayonetta so so much. The game itself is just so much fun to play. Nobody does it like bayonetta with this much glitz and glamour and so much action.

I've been excited since the first bayo 3 trailer a year ago, I've been waiting months for something about bayo to be released and since last month I've been crazy listening to the bayo 3 theme song and the fans succeed got to listen that magnificent music, that's why I'm dying for the 28th to finally see.

It's a small detail but Umbra Witches can use their magic to control objects like the motorcycle and missiles in the first game and the jets in this one, it's why they don't crash during the fights unless smashed by an angel. So no, Enzo is not flying the plane, Bayo is.
Perfume is a costume, you can buy the swords and that gives you leg ones because normally the swords can't be equipped on your legs. The bow is hands only so no purchase needed
I'm super excited for Bayonetta 3 and worth the wait. I love the series and Platinum Games combat as well as recognize, like you, Bayo as queen. Watching you makes me want to play Bayo 2 too but I want you to try to practice using the dodge offset mechanic to continue combos while dodging, it's so satisfying and takes some practice.
I Love bayonetta because it's unapologetically it's own genre. Also imo by far the best combo / beat em up game. So excited for everything bayonetta 3 is gonna bring to the table
I can't wait to play Bayo 3, I've recently played through the first one and I'm saving up for the Switch to play the second one ASAP. I genuinely don't know why I haven't played this franchise sooner 'cuz it's everything I love, complex hack and slash combat system, over the top story and characters and perfect mix of challenge and spectacle. And considering the newest one is probably getting even bigger budget and it's still being made by Platinum Games, it's gonna be EVEN BETTER THAN BEFORE.
