HOLY COW the low level mobster special... in my neighborhood that rig would haul 4 young guidos & the former one in the trunk with no problem, but all kidding aside commendable effort pal but I agree with the comments when one finds a rig in that condition its rare... SO keep rocking last century barn finds & giddyup NO PROBLEM FIXIN.. I noticed a query about availability from a foreigner, there`s many possibilities with these old rigs
I've watched this for about 15 minutes and it has been a video on what not to do. You need to have a little better understanding of automobiles before you tackle something like this for safety sake
I always turned the fuel mixture screws in same amount of turns until the engine starts to run rough and then slowly back the screws out same amount of turns till the engine starts to smooth out.
The repair on the control arm was a hack. Welding it ensures it will never be repaired again. One quick tack weld was all that was needed (if it even needed that). Taking the muffler off before you finally got around to it would have made access to the bolts much easier. The way you then abused the car after doing the work on it ruins any chance that I'd be interested in it. Kids stuff!
The Older guy seemed knowledgeable about carbs he probably could have spent a few minutes and adjusted the fuel mixture screws and it most likely would have helped the old girl out
Why does the red light on the dash stay lit? What is it for? Oil, amps, brakes? I think you have some kind of a short in the steering column. Your interior lights were flickering when you shifted gears. Your parking lights should remain lit when the headlights are on.
Nice car but clearly no driving skills or sympathy for an old car. Killed any interest I would have had in buying it. It’s lasted all this time and you guys totally abused it. Like feeding a pig strawberries as my mother used to say. 👎
I understand. Our intention was to make good content, but not everyone may agree with this. Thanks for your input, if we would do another classic car, we will be more careful :) God Bless!!!

I may not agree with the way you guys do some things but I admire that you're out there rolling up your sleeves and turning wrenches. Keep it up!
Appreciate that! 🙏
One of my favorite years, Great looking car.
Love the headlight covers and the tail light design.
Nice old Ford in pretty decent shape, hard to find them not all rusted out. Nice work on the rear bushings, having a lift must be great!
Appreciate the support, yeah the lift really makes all the difference. Can't imagine working without one.
It's cool her light covers still work.
This car has the mid-level "LTD Luxury Group" interior that was standard on early '69 LTD's and made optional later in the year.
Cool, didn't know that, thanks for sharing!

I have a feeling that car won't be around to replace the bushing again.
Totally agree re the abuse. I was interested in the car too until then 👎
Would love that imported here.😢
What country?
I like this car.
that could be yours) make us an offer)
The Older guy seemed knowledgeable about carbs he probably could have spent a few minutes and adjusted the fuel mixture screws and it most likely would have helped the old girl out
He is! But we did adjust carb many times, it’s just my editor decided to cut it from the video.
@noproblamafixin okay 👍
My Great uncle had a 69 Galaxie back in 1980.
agree, for the years when it was made it was nice car)
69 didn't have inside hood release.
yes that what we find out)
I'm pretty sure the cruise control was added on in later years, that certainly didn't look "factory optioned" from 1969.
nice video

'69 Fords did not have parking lights that lit up when the headlights were turned on!
@@BillKuecks You are correct. It was 1970.
Adjust the carb. Two screws on the front bottom of carb baseplate. Change fuel filter.
I did, it just did not ended up in the video. It was a lot of adjusting back and forth behind the scene
Sweet LTD! What's with all the Tesla trucks?
Tesla opened a service center next to my shop, so we can see all the ev's that Elon sells :)
@@noproblamafixin Very cool! Thanks for the reply.
All that effort to take it out in a field and beat hell out of it…..
It looks horrible, but this car is stronger than most of new cars nowadays.
Are you running zinc additive ?
zinc ad is a myth spread by youtubers!!
Wen u change oil filter u need to rub fresh oil on rubber seal on oil filter..
you dont have to do anything!
I’ll will rub that oil next time 🤷♂️
where is the place where you bought it?
Where do you live?
Facebook marketplace

It's getting use at least. It's 56 years old, what can you expect?
@ That’s abuse. Which is a form of “use” I suppose but I think they ruined it.

@ Yes. Treat them with respect please. 🙏
PB BLASTER works much better than WD 40
Take it to a Ford dealer for a tuneup.
lol
I don’t think they will ever figured it out
This is a darn fool.
Appreciate your honesty! No hard feeling, just a fun content.
