All bullshit aside nice job , you need to tune the carbs it idles too high , it should idle from 800 to 1400 rpm give or take.

Those carbs should have been put in an ultrasonic cleaner for about an hour or so and rebuilt.

Rookies , you did all that and didn't clean the carbs.

28 years old is not even old for a snowmobile they only get used 4 months a year at best. I have a 1988 ski doo safari 377 original motor runs as good now as it did when it was new.

The pickup line in the fuel tank I guarantee you is junk check it always and please tell me you cleaned the other carb.

Great video and knowledge of trouble solving a little bit of smarts to get it running now you have a,1500$ snow Mobile that you paid 400 for!!! with no money put into it just from parts and cleaning you had in shop... good job...Alot of people don't have basic skills to do what you did so they assume snowmobile is broken beyond what it really is..I've seen many issues with a non running snowmobile and it was just a simple fix...but if you have any mechanical skills usually they can get it running like you did....but sometimes its a coil or stator which is a whole other monster but u got lucky only having fuel issues nice job brother.....🙏
