After my first season of saddle hunting, I really think I would like more platform space. Still would like to see what one sticking looks like with the pinch point. Great review.
Looks like a really nice one stick! I think your pros and cons are spot on from what I see. I would think its tough making these sticks when trying to get the perfect balance of size, weight and of course cost. Itls like youre going to have to give a little in every area or the cost would be to high. $405 is already insane. But, I get it. A lot goes into these sticks. But even adding an inch to the bottom step means more weight and more money. It's a tight rope. Great review.
I would be curious what the total cost of an entire setup for a saddle system with a one stick would be to a treestand say beast stand or LW with a climbing system like skeletor sticks or beast sticks. I bet they are pretty close at this point... my point being , it seems in the end youre going to pay, so might as think first of the system you like best and then youre going to pay a lot either way. Just a thought while I was watching your video. 😊

Kind of ironic between the shirt and the name of the product. I honestly didn't think about until after I shot the video.
A full climb demo is necessary to complete this review. I have a Tree Top Hunting Mobile Sniper, a 2 piece system with a 12x14 platform. It is smooth to climb with and I love the large platform. The second piece is added when you are at hunting height. As with all saddle hunting equipment you must learn to manage this second piece. With practice this second operation becomes easy. If you watch the Mobile Sniper videos very closely you can learn the exact procedure. Is the Pinch Point a little clumsy when climbing for 3 movements? It’s hard to tell. But it definitely has a excellent platform.
I have climbed hundreds of trees one sticking. I climbed many with the Pinch Point. There was no need for me to show a complete climb. It is a fine one stick. Nothing cumbersome at all. No need for a 2 piece unit, but to each their own.
