I've never been to L.A. but it is clear to see that like Chicago, Union Pacific, BNSF, and others truly make a railfan smile! Metrolink for you, and Metra for me! :)
I'll be glad when I can finally see Railroad Equipment that hasn't been tagged by vandals...but some of the artists are absolutely fabulous on many of them!
circus animals there's Elephants and Camels and tigers and Donkeys and poodles and Ponies and Monkeys and bears and lions and kangaroos and Seals and Gooses and Llamas and birds and rabbits and dogs and chimps and horses
I was fortunate enough to run this train from Los Angeles to San Luis Obispo. I remember what the old heads would say don't look back when running because the elephants stick their trunks out of the cars and it looks like stop signs.
Hey, Snuffs I really liked your Circus Train video! I counted 36 cars that to me seemed extra long! I only saw one strange looking car somewhere near the middle, don't ask me where, that at first, appeared to me to be a dome observation.var, but ad it wemt by, it took on an overhead bar-like projectile or "handlebar" atop tje entire length of the car I then sumized was their giant big top tent structure transport car, am I right almost, alot or somewhat wrong or right, huh? I didn.t see any animal cars ir do they all ride right in atyle in gancy Pullman cars like the handlers, do? Lol it tpok a long while just tp find someone with Circus train footage, Period! I once heard of UP pulking a circus train I think under steam perhaps 844 or 3985 am I right Snuffy? Just sayin your snuffs all very good, and thanks for posting me your amazing footage of the trains I love!

Nice Video Snuffy
Dam son, engineer really laying down the horn in the first scene.
The train master is from the neighborhood where I grew up. When the circus comes to town every november the news makes sure they interview him.

Great catch Snuffy! Why did you wait to upload it though?
What a weird train, no circus no stuff, just Passanger cars
They where near where they where putting on a show. They alwas take the flats to one place and the passenger cars to another
must be classy side of Cali, with the graffiti all over the buildings.
