This is another terrific addition to a wonderful series of videos. Apart from anything else , the churches and cultural heritage of the East Midlands deserve much more love and attention. Thank you.
A beautiful church! I love how light the interior is. A few weeks ago I visited Glasgow Cathedral and found the interior of that building so dark that I almost fell down some steps because I did not see them in the gloom.
Yes Stephanie, that is often a problem. Here in the rural wilds churches now hide their light switches in fear that visitors may forget to switch them off. Understandable really.
What a wonderful video - you have captured something of the magic of what is a beautiful building. I love the atmosphere and the quality of light that you have created, as it has the feel of film made in the fifties. Thank you.
Thank you for the kind words. This year, if the weather is good, I hope to add a few hundred more. Keep your fingers crossed for me ! Was born in the 60s so perhaps a legacy ?
Thank you so much. Please keep looking - I love churches even though I'm not religious. Nothing compares with their beauty or position for over a thousand years.
Wow ! Interesting stuff. My friend reccomended youre channel. I knew the Church tourists (unfortunately they only did 3 videos although they were good), Not sure if theyre are many more You Tube channels on churches in different areas of the country ?. On my channel I do all church architecture (in the Northumberland / Border area). Just curious what video software and camera equipment do you use ?. You also have a better voice than me. Ill keep watching for interesting churches, what you explain and how you film. Keep up the excellent work :D
Hello and thank you for the kind comments. I originally edited with Premiere Pro but later found PowerDirector suited my needs better. I use a Canon HF-S30 camera with polaroid wide angle lenses for a greater field of view. Audio recording is done on an Olympus LS-14 Linear PCM recorder. Hopefully, this year, I would like to cover most of Lincolnshire, Rutland, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire, as well as a bit of Norfolk and Suffolk. Will check out your channel. Thank you once again. Jonathan

A wonderful building it is with its imposing 15thC tower and lovely tracery windows. A delight to see.
Thank you for your kind words.

We desperately need to preserve these wonderful buildings.
Take care.
