My favorite Atwood of all time is Alias Grace. Unreliable narrator, murder mystery, Atwood’s amazing feminine rage. A++

Love it! About to finish Assassin's Quest and looking forward to delve more into the world further.
Great reviews by the man with the best corner book hold in the business 😊.

Dawn is so good! The oankali and their relationship with humans is some of the coolest stuff in sci fi imo. I wish more sci fi would explore culture and aliens like this.

Galeano's book it opens your mind on how to the latin american people had been abused since the beginning of time. Even though the book needs lot of work it still gives you a lot information that can blow your mind 🤯.

Tangential to The Greatest Knight, I just started the newest Dan Jones book: Henry V. Obviously a different era of English history but its fantastic so far. Went with the book but Dan narrates the audiobook himself so could be a great pickup if you enjoy immersion reading. Second your take on Akira...saw a release of it an old drive in theater in high school...I've been obsessed with cyberpunk ever since. I've only read Volume 1 of the Manga...you just sold me on diving back in.

Got to meet Dan Jones at an author event right before the release and he was so chill and cool. Excellent book too, read it right after that. And hell yeah AKIRA is definitely worth jumping back into.

Definitely agree with you on ship of magic. I am almost done with tawny man and ship of magic is my least favorite out of the ones I’ve read. However, mad ship and ship of destiny are amazing.

Yeah I'm on the last 70 pages of Mad Ship and it rocks

Can you read the magic ship series even if you didn’t read the first? Not sure if I want to wait through three books 😬

I know someone who did and they said it was fine. What you don't want to do is read Farseer before Tawny Man.
